I wanted to backup my script file for Lusternia and I ended up replacing it with an older, 400 lines shorter version. Does anyone know of a way to recover it? Please? Pretty please?

Depends how you lost them. If you deleted the actual file, get an undeleter tool and pray that none of it's been overwritten. If something else, give more info.

could try and load the lusternia_bak.mud file, might hold your old settings

Like I've said, I've accidentally overwritten it with an old version of the file. I've tried a program that recovers deleted files, but to no avail. I recovered some mp3's that I've deleted a few months ago, though! On the bright side, at least I still have all my triggers, and since MUSH is kind enough to show me what scripts are missing for those triggers, I know at least what parts I am missing.

Where is that? Haven't found it.

That's the filename if you're using zMud.

I forgot to mention it, I am using MUSH with Lua. Sorry!

Ah, there's the problem. You should be using zMUD!

No, the problem I first used zMUD before MUSH. If I was using MUSH from the beginning none of this would have happen! I like MUSH better.

MUSH is the spawn of Satan.
I'd still be on ALC if it wasn't so buggy.
...actually, that's not true. 50cr was a small price to pay to never have to deal with affliction coding again.
