I don't think I ever rift more than 100 of anything. Especially then, I was/am a poor, poor bastard.
Ixion2007-10-05 08:08:23
That was pretty funny, I do recall that battle vivdly.

I got wtfpwned. In my own defense, my parry/stance were on the wrong var and I'm pretty sure I had pre-existing wounds all of which are of course my fault.

Go back warrior someday and we'll have a go. I underestimated your wounds then.

You applied to arms, Ixion. It was far more than that.
Ixion2007-10-05 08:14:32
You have no idea how my applying and wounds tracked in coordination with parry/stance on each of their vars.

Just read my post and enjoy the humility in there.

In other words, pipe down in the peanut gallery.

Edit: Don't you have class? Don't make me call the auxiliary policy on you.

As one who has built a system from scratch, this member of the peanut gallery can see exactly why your system did what it did. It was not because of extra wounds already stacked on. Desitrus gave you the wounding himself. It was a missing trigger line or two on your part that the system did not see it, among other things.

You, finally, proceed to build your own system and think you are the master of everyone else's code?

Peanuts exit stage right from the gallery.

As one who spent many hours collecting nearly every trigger line in the game, I can happily tell you that there is at least one you're missing. don-t_mention.gif

Talkan specifically asked to fight you alone so I just let the fight be. Keep in mind that the posted log happened long after I left and was not a factor in the fight at all. When you did notice me walk by and leave, you did end up cubixing.
Ixion2007-10-05 08:53:06
Yarr, your redonculous stuns had me worried heh.

Axelord is so tempting... instant large stun anytime I want sounds darned nice.

Okay, enough with the forum RP.

Ixion was raiding (I assume) and didn't want to get ganked - fair enough. Everyone who can uses cubix to avoid dying in raids - calling him a coward because he cubixed away is a pretty stupid accusation, I have seen many, many brave fighters use a cubix in the same situation.

For everyone accusing him of running when he was caught one-on-one...um...this is a log of him caught one-on-one, and not running. He stayed and won, so those accusations don't mean much.

Really I don't have any problem with any of the people involved, though Talkan's taunts do get annoying and he has a tendency to RP his part on the forum. Really, from what I see it looks like things happened just like Ixion was saying. He was playing around and afraid of being killed by groups, so he kept running. He finally came back (in answer to taunts) and killed the taunter in a fair 1-on-1 fight. He also admits to several mistakes in his fight with Desitrus and made a pretty humble post about them.

Other than just not liking Ixion, what in the world are you all arguing for?

Pretty sure everyone has system farts at times.

I think you need to not post on forums anymore.

I also think Talkan needs to not taunt people!

And this log is... different.

Heh if anything it's you who needs to not post on forums and stfu.
Unknown2007-10-05 14:58:00
Good fight Ix.

I'm sure once someone gets taunted so much they just unleash the beast.

It's like in grade school. Your getting bullied, your the nerd and geek who studies 24/7....then ya just bust out one day from anger and go haywire. sad.gif
Ashteru2007-10-05 15:00:37
Did Talkan lag or something? I mean, he doesn't cure much, and did he attack once? O.o
Shiri2007-10-05 15:04:42
I count one carcer, one heretic, and one aeon.

Good fight?

EDIT: Note, I don't prefer either Ixion or Talkan...I'm not seeing the impressive part or anything though. I can't have missed that many attacks on top of those.

Eh, the general problem most Celest fighters have with Ixion is that he likes to kill lowbies/midbies/non-combatants who are bashing water, then runs as soon as anyone semi-capable shows up. Then he brags about it. It's *extremely* rare that he'll fight a good fighter one on one. But he has the champ helm now so maybe that will change and he'll leave the smaller people alone. Here's hoping.
Arix2007-10-05 15:11:02
and if not, I'm sure someone will just steal his weapons again so he'll have to stop killing people long enough to get new ones

He should be like the Paladins he fights. Just make sure he has a good spare set lined up for when his get stolen. I know until I runed my scimitars I only fought him with my crappy ones since he's so prone to stealing them tongue.gif

We're saying that we're so shocked that he actually stayed and fought 1v1 - 99% of the time he does not.
