I really looked up to Malicia, Aerenna, and Flacarealah as the champions that came before me. I sometimes wish I could do half as well as they did in training, motivating, and group fighting. (I think I just realized I'm one of the few male champions of the Serenguard, too! Heh.)

Malicia, Vanthan, Raikogen, and Vesar.

Malicia seemed to keep things in line. Vanthan kept the fun. People followed Raikogen. Vesar seemed to have the aloof yet very cool thing going on.

This was when I was a Page.

Then I learned more. Malicia did things and was stressed out most of the time. Vanthan played the old coot who could afford to be fun. Raikogen acted something like the Patrician from "Guards! Guards!" by Terry Prachet. And Vesar didn't really notice me all that much enough to make too many comments.

Still, they are some of my top heroes.

The Talnaras in general were, and always will be great.

Azora was so awesome back then and I wish she'd come back.

Nejii, Daphyne, Ista, Hiriako, Elysiana, Shaddai, and all the other Talnara's I knew a long time ago. The new one's are awesome as well, but you guys make Seren awesome and still do.

Even though he's a total tool at some times and won't milk a damn venom gland for me cause he's too busying being afk on Celestia... Geb impressed me when I was a nooblet Aquamancer. I got jumped by a few mags for being on earth... And this is before I even knew that you could hurt mag by killing the earth lords or what not. I didn't even know how to change the essence light. I was just chilling, killing grubs when outta nowhere someone attacks me. I started spamming shielding and GTin HELP!

All the sudden a got rescued and didn't know what the hell happened till I saw Geb kill the asshat who attacked me. That made me like the game, got me hooked. For all that is totally cool and unique about this joint.

I guess I'm in the same boat as Richter, being from open beta, etc, etc.

Lacostian and Roark top my list of influences.

My only mortal influence was Murphy. I remember him coming to the Pool during the first day of open beta and killing everyone. He inspired me to alter my planned RP into a combat character (along with leadership, etc).

And to those that named me an influence in their characters, I hope my influence wasn't aallll positive...

Having joined about a month after Lusternia officially opened... my strongest influence then was Ekard. I barely knew anyone, was in some ridiculous time zone that barely anyone played in... Oh. Immortal influence? Hajamin. Edit: Why? He mended my broken legs when I was on Water and had no mending
