And there I just wanted something simple as the generic underground ambience messages in the shofangi gh replaced with fitting ones (there's one that talkes about a 'smell of decay'.. it -really- doesn't fit at all) but apprently it's impossible...

It's not impossible, it just that environment messages are tied to environments. If the Shofangi guildhall were its own environment, it could have its own messages.

The Seren portal room needs to stop smelling like decay too...although at least we can pretend that one is leaking out of Glomdoring via jewels or something.

I believe Serenwilde only has a few really underground places and in -all- of them the message does not fit. I just wish there was someone I could actually talk to about this... (yes this is a not-so-suble-anymore hint at someone to show up again).

I went to Magnagora last night and I am impressed! It kind of reminds me of the game thief.

I half-expect Yrael to become Garret and then Kalodan will morph into "The Woodsie Lord" and there will be a big battle between them!

I assumed the smell of decay was related to organic decomposition occuring under the earth. I didn't think it was supposed to be indicative of decay as a negative force.

People around here harp on stuff like that. They get a certain silly connotation stuck in their head, and they refuse to think of it sensibly.

Why would you mechanize demons? They're not Magnagora.

Because as the Engine of Transformation.. if you have the capability...why not upgrade your weaponry?

Ashtorath would come down and crucify you all on your own crosses for meddling with Nil like it was your toy?

Or would Ashtorath lead the changes himself, bestowing upon Magnagora his new, glorious, improved demons?

Unless of course, you had the support of the Demon Lords. I'm sure Baalphegar would prove incredibly useful in the research of how-to, and I doubt Luciphage would mind more power. Where as the Bloody Queen would be won over by the spikes and sawblades and such you could add. And I'm sure Ashtorath wouldn't mind a bit more oomph for his forces. And Gorgulu could just be fed a few angels and he wouldn't care what you did.

Mechanized demons would be AWESOME.

Just as long as angels get a touch-up too!
