Improves the stats of the robe. Up to about... it was a while since I had a robe-wearing char. 50/50? Something like that. Weaponprobe around robes in shops. Enchanting a robe at an enchanter used to cost 1000-3000 gold, I am not sure about now.

See point 2, only the post-enchantment protection is greater and splendors are unusable by people other than yourself.

Or it could be that I'm wrong at 3 and 4, and splendor robes already have stats when you sew them.


You can turn any item into an artifact, with exceptions of armor. So I don't think so.

None of the trans trade-skill items (e.g. splendour robes) can be made non-decay/resetting. I doubt regular robes can be made non-decay/resetting either, and no artifacts work on either.

Tailors can mend robes to extend their life for a while, though.

exceptions are trans forgers for no reason at all.

Unenchanted splendor is more, I'm thinking 21/21 for some reason. They can be proofed with all 4 proofs, and the proofs are twice as strong as proofs on other robes/coats/cloaks. My splendors are 64/71, but I'm not sure how they compare to others.

Unproofed splendors are 27/27 or something like that. High twenties, anyway.
