I think Forum newbies need to see what amazing things Lusternia has...so lets show them!
First and most important, Doman...'nuff said. Nah! Just Kidding
I think the greatest thing about Lusternia is the city unity...You can't live without it

1) Friends
2) To be someone else in a fantasy world
3) Quota still not finished
4) Probably to get away in RL life problems (though I don't ignore them, just needed some time out and relax)

I play lusternia to relax and escape pressures of real life.
Friends are here and easily available.
Costs no money unless I really want something.
Can be someone else and do thinks you really can't in real life.
Friends again are awesome.
A lot of unfinished goals.

1) Friends are top on my list ,you can't survive without them.
2) Unique and well established orgs compared to the rest of other Iron Realm games , considering I have been in Several.
3) Last and not least of what I can think of right now, I still feel Lusternia won't be complete without Gaudiguch and Hallifax, therefore if I turn away now who will be there to support them?

The histories and the setting are amazing. Just reading the files on the web page is intriguing enough to start drawing you into the world. Even better, if you escape the tendency of some to assume that those files are all there is to it, there's a big world where those histories and concepts intertwine with your character. Find out the history of the cities, the legacies of the divine wars, the secrets of the fae or of the cosmic planes. It's amazing. It's a big part of what keeps me here.
Dysolis2007-10-10 04:49:12
Mag can't count for the rest of the basin, your are to oblivious if you think they are annoyed, I could name everyone that's seeking the same goal as I but that would take forever.

People. Best of the best, really.
Every org is incredibly immersive (though some people laugh at the idea of even living in a certain org), it all just depends on what you're into.
Skills are incredibly fun, all the guilds are great to be in regardless of size.

Because there's always something to do!
Because the people are awesome!
Because you really get to feel like you're part of something!

I mostly like the chance to write creatively in such a detailed setting. Plus the people are generally great, too, and the world is real spiff.

Reasons I play:
1. Fun game.
2. Good environment. (IE: Players)
3. Overall, good playerbase.
4. Somewhat open Administration: They're ready to at least listen to your ideas. (a text based MUD I came from before I found Lusty wasn't open at all to player suggestions)
5. Good RP environment.
6. AWSOME backstory. Well developed, etc.
7. Good current story. (IE: on going conflicts)
8. Lot's of other things that I could go on and on and on about.

1. Awesome admin
2. It makes my large ego (not large, not fragile) even more overpowered
3. Good combat system
4. I'm Murphy, who doesn't want to play as him?

Because most of our playerbase rocks.
Because I can live without being a fighter... And that's a good step towards a virtual -world-, rather than simply a game.

Alright here it goes...
Some of the people are interesting, even though they don't have the guts to stand by my character who has given them oodles of gold and credits thoughout the year, you know who you are..
I play a few roleplaying intensive muds, like New Worlds, where you actually have to really roleplay, so this is a nice hack and slash to turn my time to.
You don't just die here, you get afflicted to high hell and have ways of fighting it off, with a good system and the proper skills, so it's not just bashing the up and enter key over and over like some hack and slash muds.
As much as I hate almost all of them, the aspect of gods who can perform miracles and crap, yet most of them only throw out curses and truefavors, wish more were doing things like saving people and such. Not so much from battles, but from death and possibly when they are screwed, (Paralysed and no willpower against a mob.)
If I'm feeling in a really bad mood, I can just jump through the planes and find someone I don't like and kill them, or really ruin their day. Where in other games I play, if you kill too many people a day they ban you for a set amount of time, (boo Dragonrealms!)
Some of the people actually roleplay really well, normally it's the people right out of the portal, that came here from other games, those people that really roleplay and keep to their characters, with emotes and poses and stuff, they actually are enjoyable, moreso then the ones who just use canned emotes.. There are a few grand rpers here, kudos.
And finally the reason I love playing here... If I need a skill or ability, I just mearly whip out my creditcard, click on credits and it's mine...

EDIT: Wanted to name a few. Realized I'd always forget someone or wouldn't be sure whether to name some or not. So I'm going to name only one: <3 Forren.

1) People, friends and the Gods.
2) Combat system that doesn't rely too much on who's the higher level.
3) Fun stuff that happens every now and then.
4) The fact that I can keep setting goals on myself.
5) Libraries. (I love writing/reading, whenever I'm around.)

The people here are awesome.
Escape from the real world.
Bashing is fun and morbidly addictive.

1. People.
2. The progressiveness of the world, constantly evolving the already very interesting setting.
3. Combat system. It's sexy.
4. Teleport.
5. And I suppose taking a lax from real life, though I don't really do that. Nor do I roleplay much. Callus is simply me if I could kill beasties with my Staff, transverse to other Planes and make obscene sex jokes. Oh wait, I do the latter. Nevermind.
