Maylea's would be more visible if it wasn't a fairly ordinary colour. I skip over it, and Nocht's, because they're the colours I use for trigger lines and emotes.

I think it's because it's 1) yellow and 2) eventru, and all the mags hate eventru OOCly because they are Mags IRL and eventru is celestian IRL.

Same. Don't even notice Viravain's and Lisaera's always creeps me out because it's the same color as my says.

And I like the yellow, personally. It's shocking to see but it isn't like I can't do SC;STAT to make it go off my screen.

To the best of my recollection, I don't believe Marina isn't a Mag char but in fact a Glom char but your argument is amusing regardless of its invalidity.

Re: Xenthos. It isn't 'Exalted Lord' to bypass triggers, it's 'Exalted Lord' because it is inappropriate to refer to a king/emperor on a first name basis (you never say 'Phillip', it's generally 'Your Holiness' or 'Your Highness').

As an after thought, always using Exalted Lord actually makes it easier to trigger - since it isn't His title, you can nigh always safely gag it without missing a tell/message from Him, therein endangering your existence by accidently ignoring him due to a cruddy trigger.

Arin needs to stop quoting the Dekoven channel. That looks utterly terrible out of context!

Not in the in-game context, though. Depending on the person / style of the city or guild, titles may be demanded. However, I've pretty much never seen "Your Highness" or the likes required, even in the Shadowdancers, just Queen/Prince followed by their name. Xenthos sure never demanded, or expected, to be called by title, for example. Every other God is Lord/Lady *name* by reference.

While the comment that it was "in order to bypass triggers" is pretty out there (I thought it would be relatively obvious, as it doesn't seem like something you would even have thought about as being an issue prior to this), it's not something that is generally part of the Lusternian atmosphere. In fact, I think Eventru is the only one who does it of the Divine as well, thus far at least...
