True, I forgot that one. But it was kinda hard to rp that when the room descs themselves had the word 'tainted' in it.

The PK system is really done best in Imperian.
There isn't one. Basically you can PK if you have a reason to.

Ah yes, worthy reasons including 'You're just standing in Caanae after having rezzed a buddy, die!'
Yeah.. it seems to me more and more that that's how it's basically done. There was a time when I got pk'd thrice in a row for standing outside Rafe's room. Although personally I think it was more the fact that I looked like a soft target ( and was >_< ).

Not really. It's only hard when people go "Omg, look, the ROOM DESCRIPTION SAYS TAINTED 1!!11!"
How terribly IC that is.

You don't have to go ooc to refer to it. You could for example claim that the 'room' looks and feels the same as Magnagora. Tada, perfectly ic.

Not really. "Tainted Glomdoring" ICly never had the same look or feel as Magnagora, after all. Besides, I generally see the Magnagoran look/feel as being very dry, cracked dirt-- the essence of Earth. See: Their demesnes.
I mean, even Seren says there are different forms of taint.

When that's better than what you have in the other IRE games, that's when you know the other IRE games need to be fixed!

Cherry or Sour Apple?
Unknown2007-10-21 23:34:04
Wowza.
Thank you all for the advice. So they -were- right about you guys!
Guess I'll start up my first little Novice and get going, eh?
Glomdoring sounds good. I think I'll join there.
PS. The Taint is actually blue raspberry, duh!

If you rezz one of my enemies? Sure, I will kill you.
Just randomly dunking somebody in the Spring? That's just dumb. Maybe you're confusing sensible people with Dregaur?

Don't worry, mitbulls should be along any minute to answer each of your questions with unwavering tenacity. Expect each answer to be at least a paragraph or two.
Apparently I was too slow, and missed my chance at a horribly long, drawn-out explanation of everything that is Lusternia.
Oh well. I'll just chime in to say that I like Avenger better than pk cause simply because it is clear. Nobody ever actually understood all of the rules in HELP PKCAUSE, and it generated a ton of issues, which took up a ton of time for some poor admin. With a clear-cut system, the admin can be free to do other things. I would also argue that it is a little freer than HELP PKCAUSE, simply because you can kill anybody you want to once without any sort of punishment at all...not to mention that it doesn't apply off-plane; every area off-plane is basically always free PK. It definitely has limitations, and people abuse it which irritates me, but I've never had a problem with it. In fact, I've never had more than 3-4 suspects at a time; I basically kill whoever I want the majority of the time without worrying about avenger.
EDIT: And ignore all of them. The Glomdoring is evil, don't let them trap you! Come to the Shofangi. We will protect you, and give you cookies.
Xenthos2007-10-22 16:35:30
They are, unfortunately, cookies that will rot your brain.
