So village quests, serpents. and wolves/turtles?

Y'know I actually started typing "say" before I caught myself.

I do that when I IM. My sisters and my friends have gotten used to it and hardly even mention it when I don't catch myself in time anymore.

for Mags...killing spectres and doing the quest is an easy 4k and change. Hunting eels works too, though the exp is much lower.

I only kill the leatherworker after giving him the snakes and influencing him. I feel so evil.

Very few people actually knew about that, and until now the pythons were usually around when I wanted them. Apparently, though, hundreds of people have read this thread and taken your advice recently.

I always use ' instead of SAY, which is slightly less unobtrusive, but still looks odd when I do it in IM. I've been known to do CT in IM, too. <.<

I do that a lot too. Another bad IM habit spawned from Lusternia is typing QL every now and then when the conversation would lag in the IM. I do that in the game when I'm reading or something's going on that I can't do regular things, to keep myself from timing out, right? So, when the IM would sit there for a while without anyone saying anything, I'd just feel the urge to type QL. But, after being made fun of many times, I eventually learned to fight the urge.

I have to agree that unless you can take Krokanis, Bards/Scholars/Pilgrims are your best bet. There's always a few lurking about, they have a decent respawn rate and it's easy to do.

While you're doing bard/scholars, get rockeaters too. It's on the way, they are quick to kill, and you can end up with 1k extra if they're all around.

Sometimes it's not a matter of being able to take them, it's a matter of them never being there, they're always hunted out!

Just so you all know...ratting in Aetolia is the true way for those unlucky enough to not be able to enter Bloodloch If you can enter bloodloch...beetling is the best. 30 gold a beetle and if you can get into the lava caverns. I transed weaponry off beetling. Will never rat in an IRE game after that again...
