What's that got to do with anything?

But speaking of mishearing song lyrics, when I was a kid, and my folks would play Jimi Hendrix's song Purple Haze, I thought for the longest time... till I was 11 anyway, that he was saying "Excuse me while I kiss this guy" instead of "'Scuse me while I kiss the sky." 11 was the age I was when my older brother overheard me singing along and, after he finished the nearly ten minute laughing jag, corrected me.

That site says that Hendrix would sing that on purpose to mess with people! I have to call my brother and tell him to stop making fun of me for that then! (He STILL makes fun of me about it!)
