My return

Back to Common Grounds.

Hi.

For those who care, I will be attempting to start playing Lusternia again. Unlike what I originally thought, I just needed a long break to renew my desire to play. However there will be some changes to my character... First, no more combat involvement (except maybe bashing). Why? Because during the time I was away, I had to move quite a bit and in one of those, some useless movers dropped the box that was containing my computer down a stair, effectively reducing the hard drive to rubble glare.gif , thus losing zMud, the zMud license key I had and the system I was using. I might get involved in combat again in the future, but that shouldn't be before a while.

With that said, I am glad to be back!

Wow Navaryn! Good to hear you are coming back! Hope to see you soon. We would love to see you back in the Guard again.
Rakor2007-10-28 01:36:30
Awesome, welcome back!
Jack2007-10-28 01:37:37
Yoohoo.

Welcome back!

Even though the interactions were no longer than a couple of seconds, I still remember you were nice to my first character, and that was greatly appreciated! smile.gif

happy.gif Really? Who was your first char?

And Rakor, you old dog... time to bring back that Ur'guard of yours to life!

He wussed out and joined some bunch of pansy singers, actually. So that's the first thing you'll have to deal with.
Arix2007-10-28 02:57:42
I can't remember, have I met Navaryn?

Just a note, the Zmud site keeps your liscence key, so you can retrieve that, and thus your lisenced version of Zmud pretty quickly! When I started playing here, it had been a good while since my last attempt at another MUD, and I had switched computers, but I had Zmud back in a few minutes after going to the site.

...not that such does anything for your system, but you're still a leg up on people like me! My "system" consists of a targeting alias, a variable, and a few single command macros.

Thanks, but the license key I was using was given to me by a friend (don't know if that is illegal or not, but in my defense, I had never asked for the key, it was freely given to me), whom I lost contact with, and so, I am afraid it is lost for good.

Screw zmud. I've been trying out cmud, and it's enormously faster. Granted, not *here* (I hate writing code. I'll do it once a year. Maybe.), but it's incredibly faster over in Aet.

I am sure someone can get you a key somewhere.
For now take a leadership position back in the Guard, we need more old schooling leaders.

And if he can't, I can.

No Bali, he wasn't a small plant and unable to play. He just wasn't here. You are coming back from something different tongue.gif

I want to get back in fighting shape before I even consider taking any leadership position. Besides, I didn't do anything special when I was GM and I almost pulled stunts that would have most likely made the whole guild and city scream at me heh.

...and OH MY GOD, wtf are these smileys?!

You missed the crowned smileys.

These are so, so much better.
Arix2007-10-28 04:03:08
except now we have no Krellan smiley

He has managed to survive without it, thus far at least.

YOU WANNA FIGHT??

Yeah, these smilies are terrible, only a miniscule improvement from the crowned ones.
