I regret to say, after spending some time thinking about it, I have decided not to update the realm map any more.

whoa! I've used your map since the beginning, beta or whenever you started making it, and I don't mind saying that it's a whole whole lot better than any of the others out there. Very nice work

Your map helped me so so much when I was new and had no clue where anything was, and once I grasped the basics, seeing all the places there were to explore helped spur me into exploring enough to make it onto the first page of the explorer rankings, one of my favorite achievements to date. I've had a copy of the latest one saved right on my desktop for a while now, and while I don't need to consult it nearly as much as I used to, when I do open it up I almost always notice something hidden that I'd overlooked before.

So, thank you for making such a great thing. <3 It's been a great big part of my Lusternia experience since the beginning, and even though I know you're probably leaving for good, and I don't really need the map much anymore, I have no choice but to secretly hope you decide to return someday.

Caffrey's hard work will be missed. (Too bad he didn't find that 13th Astral Sphere--heh). But I can understand, either he's retiring or semi-retiring and can't be bothered to be a mapper anymore.

But hey, I believe they've given credit rewards for mapping in the old days--I mean, we've had Exarius and Shorlen do a lot of that in the past. Maybe it's time for a new person to take upon the reigns. So where are the prospective mappers? Think of this as not a goodbye but a call to arms!

I could probably be bothered to update major areas for the cartographer line... I doubt any other map or editing could compare to Caffrey's work though.

I'd be willing to help but I think someone who's actually a Demigod is more suited. What did Caffrey make this map in? Perhaps it is a good idea to pass on the source file to those willing to provide future updates

Caffrey's map looks like an export from zMud/cMud/Mudlet.

I'd really like to see more area specific maps that were a bit more like the old ones we used to get. As useful as the full realm map is, I'd love to see a Hallifax and Continuum map that are more representational of the organized structure and the patterns being entered than the limited one we get on the combined map.
