I actually have a set of sidebars in zMUD to show me what my last attack echo was, whether I'm on balance (gonna make one for armbalances too), last affliction recorded, and a couple other things. I sometimes miss echos even if they're in triplicate..... Not-moving text ftw!

If everything around you is too fast, it is best to be slow.
The solution!

I don't know, my paladin is Tae'Dae... and as long as I keep hitting right from the get go, my opponents so far have been getting into a curing circle. I just keep applying afflictions and wounds all over their body and they spend so much time curing it that they end up doing nothing to me, even with the balance problem. That said, the strength of Tae'Dae's is really something... I love hitting that hard. My sparring partners are always amazed at how much health I can rip from their body with the end of my sword.

That said, for bashing, it is a pain in the neck being that slow. *chuckles* Lots of sipping goes into my bashing.

Also, my sparring partners so far have not had the time to get transed in things like Combat, or Resilience, so their defense might be a bit low compared to some of you out there. That also said, they do not necessarily have curing systems, but use a set of aliases and echos for the most part.

Course, I don't have a curing system as of yet, either, only the very basic echos for things like Balance and stuff. So I think it all balances out in the end.

That is possibly the worst justification to go tae'dae that I've ever seen. That's like saying tae'dae are OP because they can kill lowbies in one or two hits. Also, tae'dae sip for more and are tankier than other races - you should be sipping less while bashing.
