In the knight guilds...if you trans your specialization...how often do you miss? I mean compaired to racial benefits and such.
For example a human axelord vs a dwarf axelord, both transed.

you still miss but not that often I think, it's what keeps us from being too powerful, only powerstrikes like sweep for axelords or lunge for blademasters rarely misses (note: rarely, so they still miss).
Unknown2007-11-16 10:57:59
Do you know if there is a ratio? Like in Aetolia if you are trans weaponry, before they changed it, you would miss twice out of every 100 swings, at least that is what I came up with when I set out to figure the ratio. Any ideas for here?
Faymar2007-11-16 11:06:03
From what I've heard, the maximum hit chance you can have is 95%. With a racial bonus, 98%. But I am pretty sure that combat affects your hit chance too, I am trans axelord and I still miss quite a lot.

Hmm...interesting. Thank you everyone

Okay, next thing I'm curious about...has anyone ever managed to RP a corrupt Paladin? I mean...like gone and served Magnagora while still retaining the Paladin skillset of Sacraments?

If you have sacraments, you must use power from the Pool to employ it. (You have to be linked to the Pool). I think it's a lot easier said than done.

There is no way around it. It's the "plight" of the rogues.

I thought there was a skill that allowed you to absorb power from another nexus...or did I misunderstand the information? If that is the case...which most likely is...then there goes my big old rp idea...

As I said, you need to be connected to the Pool to use the skills. You need Pool of Stars power, afaik.

Alright, guess I need to refigure my whole RP idea. Thanks a lot for the help.

You COULD -potentially- play an ur'Guard as a 'fallen Paladin'?

Was thinking about that...and might do it but I was trying to do something a little more original. But seeing how it is almost impossible to be a rogue in the realm due to limitations on skills...that kind of limits stuff. Oh well, roll with the punches or whatever right?

With regards to your comment about being able to tap any nexus, that was "Nexus" in Planar, yes?
Planar nexus just lets you use any nexus to transverse (i.e. from Ethereal to Prime or Elemental to Cosmic to Astral, depending on where you're at).

Yes it was the skill Nexus in planar. I just misunderstood how it was used. Thank you.
If you forget a skill...and do not transfer lessons out of the pool...do you lose any lessons? Or is it only when you transfer between pools and if you do how much is it?

HELP FORGETTINGSKILLS or HELP LESSONPOOLS or something. Outlines it. You should do a little bit of searching before you ask.

The short answer being: yes, you still lose lessons.

The specific short answer is that it's 20% lesson loss.
