What's your physical desktop look like? Snap something on your phone. Post. POoossst. It's the middle of the night, and I'm curious. You know, the thing your pretty monitor that displays Lusternia rests on.

Because I'm bored enough to do it. My desk at work.
Anyway, you start the topic and then don't post your own one Yrael? Bad form...

That's staged. No real developer would bother investing in such a book about VBScript.

Heh, well thankfully I'm not a real developer, I do a little ASP for web sites and intranets, some T-sql and scripting for tying together user accounts on a couple of different systems and the occasional small program to do something to make my job easier. But I'm on the network side so most of my time is involved in sitting around going, "Well, look at that

I'll have to bring my camera to work tomorrow...

Curiosity killed the cat, Yrael. And where's yours.
As you can see, nothing of interest.

That is so not your office... that is clearly a bedroom. What type of office has blinds like that?
Xavius2007-11-20 19:12:17
An office on a west-facing wall above the ground level?

many offices have blinds, but offices don't have blinds like THAT. Unless maybe you work in some remote country which has lost contact with modern civilization?
Jack2007-11-20 21:33:41
Did work experience in architects office. Blinds identical to those.

Your Ixion impressions are way too verbose. And annoying.

Good. Will persist solely to annoy you. Feel free to ignore me. It's how I deal with people like you.

London, UK... which I guess could have lost contact with modern civilisation. Anyway, we are saving money to move to a brand new $160m building in 3 years. I will make sure to suggest to the designers that we get the most modern blinds available
Like maybe blinds that are actually large, winged robots, that fly away when it isn't sunny.

My desk at work has NEVER been that neat, except maybe a few years back when we shifted everything around, but that was only because I piled the junk on a different desk during the move

Ahh, London... yes, that would make sense, it explains everything now.
And I think Europe has enough gargoyles, would be silly to make them out of metal. Xanatos tried that already and they weren't nearly as good as the real thing.
see if you can get some of these installed.
