So, I'm a Faeling (yesterday became an Ebonguard) and I don't know what spec to pick sad.gif so can someone help me pick? I'm looking for something in the...leave your enemy ****ed up with afflictions and then...you know category.

Thanks!

if you are ebonguard stay faeling, you are the glom spec race now, which will give you the boosts at level 50 and you will still have the balance/eq bonuses of a faeling, allowing you to afflict at a very fast rate.

Race specs come as soon as you get the specified skill, regardless of level, don't they?

yes

I'm assuming he's asking which warrior spec to choose, not which race spec.

Glad I'm not the only one that read it that way.

Bonecrusher - the best for Shadowlords by far, I'd say.

I was originally a BC... it was nice and I enjoyed it. I really liked the fact that you could keep the guy prone quite a bit... beat the crap out of his legs. *chuckles*

I've recently switched to PB, mainly because I didn't want to be something that seems to be considered the "cookie cutter" way of doing it, but BC is said to be one of the strongest. But I do enjoy my PB as well, because I like the idea of being able to hack off the limbs of who I'm working on. wink.gif

Ok, I've decided on my warrior spec, can anyone help me with the Totem specs?

As a faeling, you definitely want totems, so you can be a shadowlord.

And Night is almost always superior to Crow for Ebonguard combat.
Unknown2007-11-24 18:22:28
Hmm...why exactly is Night superior?

Hmm...why exactly is Night superior?

A warrior's offense is almost entirely based on their weapons. Thus, passive effects are far more beneficial to a warrior than actives in general combat (though Crow's got a number of neat/active abilities outside of combat, their effectiveness in combat is low, and not worth "not attacking"). On the other hand, Night has the stolen shadow (a one-off active that then passively hits until it decays whenever you swing), Night aura (always passive with Nightkiss), DMP (always active with nightkiss), more DMP (from Garb). Crow has, for passives: Health regen when flying, extra movement when flying, and poison resist.

Similar things exist for Stag when compared to Moon, though they also have Stagtotem and medicinebag, which help it a bit. Still, I'm trying for some kind of a passive Crowform/Stagform bonus to warriors-- for example, a +wounding% bonus, which would give it its own passive focus / combat use, while still leaving Night with a greater array of passives.
