Not sure this will work because I've never done it before, but here is what I hope to be a log in an attachment of a fight between me and Daedalion. I know most of my mistakes, and I've just started to spar more. Nezha wanted more logs, so here it is! More should be on the way Daedalion said he wanted to spar again but I had to go do something else. Ignore the stuff at the end if the attachment works, I forgot to stop the log before going on to other stuff. I'll probably post any more combat logs I get here.

Harbingers cause bleeding somehow I'm not sure how, but I always bleed against them. I'm using Ethelon's system, the gagging is probably the standing.

Doesn't look like your system paused in choke. I love the colors in your log, by the way. My html logs always look ugly.

I didn't I always forget to pause it, which is one of the reasons why I'm practicing more in choke, right now the system doesn't autopause in choke so I have to manually put it in, which is annoying but is hopefully getting changed soon. Right now I'm going to add it, thanks for reminding me! I like the colors too. It makes everything so much easier to read.

Why use icewalls? They'll just get nerfed because they equal instant death for toads. Kind of like firewalls did.

Hmm, what does color maelstrom do? It's passive afflictions? I still am sketchy on bard combat, this is the first time I fought one and actually looked for what I did wrong when I have all the skills that are good for combat.
Yah releasing shadows was a problem for me that I noticed half way through. Usually I'm better at remembering not sure what happened this time.
Tumbling is new and I haven't used it much so I'm still getting used to using it.
Thanks for reminding me on the STOMP TOAD alias. I've been meaning too for a while but always need to run do something quickly after I spar and forget.
I might actually start using icewalls, but I was in choke, fighting a bard without earwort up. I didn't want the passive afflictions getting me while I was setting up icewalls.

Firewalls got nerfed because I used firewalls over icewalls to kill toads. Both guarantee the toadcurse kill. One got nerfed. Just me whining.

One allows for it with no work at all, one requires at least some amount of effort afterwards (all those missed stomps), because if the toad tries to hop out, it's stopped by the walls. Firewalls never stopped a toad leaving, they just lit it on fire until it died. No extra thought needed.
However, firewalls still do the initial damage, so you can firewall an area and kill a hopping toad that way. It's just not as much of an easy "cast and forget" method. Hooray for equal amounts of work.

Your logic seems a bit flawed. But first, below is a PM from Narsrim, which wll give some information you left out in your calculations and something you may have overlooked to approximate 5 stomps (you being a faeling and all).

Whether you overlooked the dexterity factor or are skeptical of it, I'd be willing to try this out in an arena with various races. We can't really test the time it takes to burn to death, but on ethereal, where most of the fighting happens (so you do get construct level 3 health regen) it took over 30 seconds for people to die to fire alone, that included hopping through multiple walls. The walls hurt more than the burning, approximately 100-150 damage and most toads don't have over 1k health (I tend to have 1k I believe). I forget whether or not it was changed, but if someone has racial or outside of def regens, they will still work as a toad (racial, arti, construct, titan/demi). I'd also like to reiterate that toad stomps are fast. 1 stomp absolutely does not equal 20 seconds. 1 stomp=2 toad movements. Since I can't time it, I know that for a fact. If you stomp, then the toad moves, they can move two rooms before you regain balance. Toad hops delayed, by either half a second or 1 second. At most it's 2 seconds a stomp. Which means it's 10 seconds to stomp 5 times. And icewalls win again.
Two more points I can think of right now. One being that being ignited does not guarantee a kill like icewalls do. The toad can move and search for a body of water or someone can use nature rain (in theory) to put out the fire. I'm going to assume that you feel both are equal in 1v1 situations since you mentioned something about group combat and not having to chase the toad over wasting attacking time to stomp. 1v1 I'll agree they're pretty much equal as well. Obviously because being on fire isn't a guaranteed kill, the favor was slightly to icewalls. Now, they're all to icewalls. My last point is that in a group, you could just leave the toad there immobolized and continue to fight. It's not as if you don't have maybe two minutes before the toad reverts. At two seconds a stomp, that would be 60 stomps. Somewhere in that two minutes, you can take ten seconds to stomp 5 times even though 5 stomps might not be the standard.
