Traditionally, it's really weird gnomes raining from the sky. But Ironbeard might come back.

Gnomes = better arties, more fun finding them, and a reason to stay up for 24 hours on Lusternia. (I'll be out of the country this year for it, though, so no gnomes for me!)

You can too share Ironbeard presents...and the better arties can be changed, it's not a property inherent to gnomes or ironbeard. Not having to traipse around for hours to get anything > having to traipse around for hours to get anything, so Ironbeard is better in that regard.

Yeah, during the gnome event I was hardly ever on when they were going around, and when I was, I could never find one.

I got 0 presents from the gnomes, but a 200 credit artie from the drunk dwarf!

Yeah, Ironbeard was cheap as hell, I've gotten more valuable stuff by picking up what killed people drop, but I assume what Ironbeard gives could be changed.

Ironbeard hated me, but I always remember Torak gave me the paintbrush he found from a gnome which was really nice of him cause I rarely found any .

I didn't get anything last year, cause I went to visit my family the week of Christmas and the only members of my family with a computer are my sister and my crazy cousin. The little bit of time I got to log in, the gnomes or whatever weren't arround. It'll prolly be the same this year too.

But that's cool, I'll just do what I did last year and enjoy everyone's happiness at their gifts and laugh at the ones who complain that the free thing they got wasn't that great.

I'm doubting Ironbeard will return, since he was an IRE wide character for the anniversary (although they could bring him back for christmas), if it's for Lusty only events, it may be the gnomes, or possibly another bearded NPC that works like Ironbeard.

Yeah, Ironbeard did seem to have a thing for mass carnage. Once we raided Earth, and there were bodies everywhere, and Ironbeard was standing in the middle of it grinning ear to ear.
