Why not make it so you can focus positive during mini-weakenings (I wish they'd find a better word for those, maybe "minor occultation" and "major occultation"? Doesn't matter now, though, it's too late, everyone will keep saying "mini-weakenings") but don't get aurowhatever particles for it?

I was going to ask that, but on rereading Morgfyre's post it looks like he'd still expect people to agree to weaken and repair each other's constructs and hand out the particles from the loss.

Even so, though, I'm not sure if preventing the ability to do that is worth the defenders not being able to legitimately repair their own constructs when they get blasted.

Good point. Okay, nevermind. (But I still wish they'd've chosen a better name.)

Voted for combo, that way everyone has a chance of getting 'em.

Edit:
Going to add a little bit to my reasoning. If they only release on the ground, it's possible that only one side could get them. Sometimes, a side may only be able to muster enough for a ship or two, and not any ground forces, but the other side might have a decent sized ground forced there already. You go to damage the construct, but what do you get out of it? A little bit of damage that is at this point easily fixed.
