I knew a guy named Dane that did that, well the shoes thing. He also used to have blue dreads, a giant LP collection of some of the best punk ever. And taught me how to copy information from magnetic strips to other magnetic strips (like cc's, gas cards, metro cards)

We did it mainly with metro cards, bought a 5-10 metro card, and just used that to reload our spare ones, granting us free roam on the metro smile.gif.

I'm in the process of dreading my hair, Don't think it's going to be blue though. And that information copying technique sounds sweet, Wish I knew it. Would save me lots of metro money. freaked.gif

A picture of my brothers and I petting a goat when we were little was in a Plimouth Plantation brochure for a few years. We didn't find out it was in there until years after the picture was taken when my brother's middle school class went on a field trip there.

I've been on the news twice, both times when I lived in Texas.

"America's Most Wanted" isn't the news, per se.

Neither is COPS... suspicious.gif

But no, it was the evening news. The first time was when I was on Drill weekend and me and some of the folks from my NG unit were going to get lunch at this restaurant, all dressed up in BDUs. This was when Bush was gearing up for the first of his disasterous elections and was still Governor of TX. A news crew came up and asked if they could interview one of us about it and all my so-called friend scattered and left me there and I said sure and said what I really thought about Bush, which was pretty much the same as what I think now. I didn't realize until the next day when about ten different people came up and told me that as a memeber of the TX National Guard I wasn't supposed to say negative things about the Governor. laugh.gif I'd thought I'd shown a lot of restraint though! I didn't mention how I thought he was an idiot, just that I was really worried about what would happen if he won. laugh.gif

Then, the second time, was when the local news was on 6th Street filming everyone dressed up for Halloween. The reporter told me I looked hideious and I laughed and said, "Thank you! That was the whole idea!" and it wound up on the evening news. laugh.gif

I had to go to speech therapy during middle school for a while to learn how to pronounce the letter R when I was younger.

When I was around 2 or 3 I memorized my favorite book and "read" it to people. My favorite home video is of me reading it in front of the Christmas tree.

I hate any and all miniature poodles ever since my aunt's old and disgruntled one bit my face and generally tried to maul me when I was little. Coincidentally, I have a cousin who looks just like me who was victimized by the same demon poodle.

I'm 23 years old and I never learned to properly tie my shoes. I make a fake two-loop shoestring knot.

Me too, except I'm 17 and I learned from Mr. Dressup. One of those kids show people that was on before or after the "It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood..." show whose formal name I forget.

-The Wizard of Oz totally freaks me out, I can't watch it without having nightmares for about a week afterwards.

-When I was 10, I was hospitalized becuse my grandmothers cat bit a hole in my palm... 6 stitches and 3 years of therapy followed said event.

-In middleschool I punched my science teacher for calling my mother a "Fat Whore" needless to say I was suspended for a week and almost expelled.. he never looked me in the eye again.

-When I was younger I loved the leprechaun on the lucky charms box... I still do.

-I've never been out of the United States and yet I have a pretty decent english accent... nobody knows where it came from.

I should add that I'm 17 and have also never learned to tie my shoes. I have only worn slip ons for about five years now.

I had to drink goat's milk when I was a baby. Was allergic to every other milk including breast milk. Now I down milk like it's water. I go through 2 gallons a week at least. *eyeshift*

I have a twin brother. And also a second brother who is not a twin. When I refer to "my brother", it confuses people.

I have a gift for breaking stuff up. I am not clumsy in the way I move, but I can destroy items with an ease unreachable for all but the most extreme anime Dojikko (clumsy girl archetype - male varieties are so rare it's unheard of). And no, it never works when I try it consciously.

When I was little I used to love digging up bugs from the dirt and playing with them, and now I can't even look at them without getting a panic attack.

That was me when I was little.

I overdosed on milk. confused.gif Some how. Killed my iron levels.

When I was little, I had trouble throwing things away or otherwise being "violent" toward inanimate objects. I felt sorry for them.
Veonira2007-12-05 04:09:41
SAME!

I used to be afraid of my stuffed animals if they fell off the bed. I thought they were going to kill me so I'd apologize profusely to them.

Had no idea that was possible...I think I need to cut down on my milk intake for a bit. *thanks Diamondais profusely*

My elementary school librarian made us apologize to books if we dropped them.... huh.gif

At my high point I had 37 piercings at once (though I'm fairly certain I mentioned this on another thread....so ignore if so).

When I was shipped to the US, I had to see a dentist/then, an orthodontist. The nasty orthodontist didn't like my bite, so had me go through a year and a half with the 'herbst appliance' (http://www.braceplace.com/herbstappliance.html).

I did colour guard in high school.

I am colour blind.

I play MtG.

And I have nothing of real interest in this list.
