Ok, I'm in los angeles, who's band do I join and what job should I take?
Yay! My Devin lives in LA too.
You can start a band of your own, or you can join an already existing one. Depends on what you want to do really. As for job, click on the Community link at the top of the page and then click on the It's POP Magazine link. Look at the Job Offers in the Classifieds and find yourself a job. The easist ones are things like Cleaner which doesn't require any special skills or attribute levels.
Once you've learned some skills and increased various attributes with your experience points, you can get a better job.
Don't ignore any of the Mother tasks, cause you get a really nifty skill at 5 stars and some money once you're done, but you don't have any time limit to complete them either so don't feel rushed about that.

Really, the best thing to do is to read this entire thread and also to read the Newbie Question Forum in Popomundo. You'll learn a lot of stuff just by reading other folks' questions.
What's your Popo name anyway?

I've added you to my phonebook.
I won't be in LA for a while though.

Another one added to the blacklist!
I've also revised the introduction on page 1, though it is largely... uninspired. If someone has a better description of Popomundo then by all means send it over =)

Druken2008-04-05 01:03:55
Daganev won't because he thinks that Xenthos and I are le evil.
And PS, it's MY band! Xenthos is the stand-in leader until I'm healthy again!

Lots of good stage events (lower events at the beginning, higher star events at the end), and VERY high popularity songs. All of our songs are perfect/perfect (or greater), and most of them are 50%+ popularity. Can take a look at our repertoire!

Ah I see, so you don't need any original songs at this point then? That's a relief! Time to shop the charts again.
Edit: Erm, and what about instrument requirements, did you meet all those too?

I have no idea if we meet them all or not, I didn't check.
But given that our band has a backup singer, a dancer, and 2 drummers-- I get the feeling we don't. (It doesn't seem to matter much at this point)

Some crazy drug addict attacked me in Nashville - LA, but I managed to fend him off. Something must be done about crime rates!
