It sounds real good. Maybe too good. How many other artists do they have signed? Are they all noobs or are there some good bands? How much money does the studio seem to have on hand?

Yeah, don't do it. They're offering crazy contracts to try to snag people is all. They won't be making any profit off of that deal and will eventually go under.

In fact, I wouldn't even worry about signing with a record company until you have at least 'dreadful' fame in a few cities. You won't sell anything much until you do. The good record companies will know this and that's why you might not be getting many offers from them right now. Once you do though, you'll see an increase in legitimate offers.

Though, really, because of the stupid spam rules in Popo, a lot of the best record studios probably don't solicit. Your best bet is, when you're ready to sign and start putting out singles and so on (when you've got at least 'dreadful' fame in a few places), to go to Community > Charts > Locals > Most Popular Locals and then in the drop down select "Sort Studio by Genre" and select your genre type and the city you want to get a listing of the studios are available and then look into them. The ones at the top of the lists will be better, of course. When you find one you like, send the CEO a PM asking for details on their contract, if they don't have it in their local description.

There's not really any harm in taking it, to be honest. You can use it to record for free, which is nice when your artist is poor, and you never have to release an album with them...and you can rip up the contract any time you want. I'm about to rip my current one to pick up one of the two other offers we have on the table.

I got into a fight with that idiot Paul Butkovic! I managed to throw a nice punch before some people in intervened.

I met a bunch of you at Reiha's wedding but then everyone disappeaared!

I think I am holed up in my apt in London, probably missing shows, etc... I don't really care though... I don't have the energy to set up tours etc, etc. I figure I will get some of my skills up to 5 stars while not logging in but 1 time a week or something. Maybe then I will actually have the time to sit and plot out hours upon hours of bus schedules, routes, and other monotonous things that are needed.

My repetoire is in bad shape too, but don't really want to spend more hours searching out good songs that will only be playable for a week if I am not going to be making it to shows anyways.

Use my show list that I posted a couple days back, and I also posted dates. Just change the dates to more current dates, and you should have a decent starting point at the very least. Also, make sure to log in more than once a week or you may start to wander!
