This is just a throw-away show for the Mom tasks. When I get my skillz and a nice list of songs all jammed up nice, I'll start doing shows for real and then I'm totally gonna go to London for a gig!
Who knows though... I might come to London for a visit before then. I gotta fly somewhere and stay in a hotel for Mom Tasks too.
I think audiences appreciate mercifully short concerts from people like us. I had terribly low stats, no skills at all, and played my accordion rock song called "Penguin Panic", and my concert was rated the third lowest it could be rated. There was even on-stage vomiting involved, and it could have been two whole levels worse

On-stage vomitting? Nice!
Mine is gonna be four songs. I'm gonna try to be logged in when the show happens, but I can't guarantee it. Those of you who've done shows, do you get the play-by-play if you weren't logged in or only when you're logged in?
Acrune2007-12-17 20:29:46
You can view the play-by-play afterwards.
I was going to light my accordion on fire too, but I wasn't sure if I'd have to buy a new accordion afterwards, and I can't afford that.

There's one on the 1st page of this thread, but I don't think it's 100% complete. A few folks have signed up I think that aren't on the list.

First post, page one. There's also the super-secret Xavius in New York. (Ok, so it's not so super-secret. )

Oh, by the way, I found something interesting out earlier today on the forums and thought I'd share, but I forgot about it till just now:
If someone does a a Horoscope for you, and it warns you against snuggling - don't snuggle for 3 days or you'll get scabies.
Also, if it tells you to find an item, and you do, you get a mood boost after a day or so.
Oh, and if you get one that talks about composing, and you set your priority to composing, after a day or so, you'll get an inspirational seed.

Has anyone actually met anyone that acts as if their even out of highschool? Everyone I interact with is either foreign or completely retarded.

Might be better to go to the hospital and get a flu shot... most cities seem to have a "flu curing" thread (I know London does). Feel free to post there and say, "Please help me! I feel nauseous and I don't want anyone else to catch this thing!"
Acrune2007-12-18 03:29:02
Suppose you do want other people to catch it?

Then someone complains and the doctors come and force-cure you.

Let's just say I complained about a teacher, and within 2 minutes 3 doctors had showed up to nab that teacher's blood sample.
So, apparently it is free in London, to keep the thing from spreading. I know I didn't pay a thing, and the teacher didn't seem to care.
