No worries, it'll be my treat this evening I'm expecting to land a nice new job too (for real this time!), so money shouldn't be a problem now!

I don't think so. But there SHOULD be. I mean, you're on a date for an hour...there has to be more to do than just a few interactions!
And I feel badly about how much this is likely going to cost you, so would you like some cash?

don't you all just wash dishes? I mean spending 1k on a date is expensive you could buy a book or make a payment to a secret skill teacher with that.
Oh yeah anyone got 2mil they wanna give me to further my career?? >.>

Athena Smithyman is obviously jealous of what a fine man you are....and that's why she sent that message... Women! Honestly!
Edit: And what do you need $2 million for, Ildy?

Congrats!
I must be the lowest paid CEO in Popomundo.
I mean, given my performance, that's understandable, but still.

Nah, salary is only part of it...think of the BONUSES!
Edit: And my date with Ron Villareal was nice, and now I have to go to bed, which means I will likely sleep through my next show, and be awake in time for my next 8 hour flight...what fine planning on my part! (Damn Australian future time...)

Hailey Parsons and I ended our nice date at Roadkill Café.
Not too bad for a first time, I'd say!
Edit: Ninja'ed I have to wake up early tomorrow anyway so perhaps I'll be able to make it to your show

Umm... Shayleybops?
What the heck does my boss mean by ticket prices can be set, but not raised after that- only lowered?
Per band playing or... ever?
I don't want to break the club already.

The wild lover duet of Keith and Reina still needs a bassist, people. :| (She should be the lead singer, but don't tell her that.)
Xavius2008-01-16 04:19:35
All shows start out at the default ticket price, which is usually obnoxiously high.
Then, the CEO sets the ticket price lower, where he/she thinks things will actually sell. You can only go lower on that show, though. You can't raise it back up when you realize "Oh, the #45 band is going to sell way too many tickets at $4."
You change this from the "shows" tab on the CEO screen. It makes a lot of sense when you look at it. Don't change the default ticket price!

Aww, is it the player's decision to raise your salary or will it just happen randomly?
Xavius2008-01-16 07:31:27
As CEO, he can actually give himself a raise.

Though I tend to think the club owner won't really appreciate that, unless you speak to him or her first!
And Hailey just played her first POOR concert! Woot! It was poor baby!
And, I got offered a record contract....which seems slightly premature, but I must research first!
Druken2008-01-16 14:30:24
Ya- that's what he said the starting wage would be. Unfortunately, he also said that that's the highest wage allowed within Budapest. Oh well! It's still awesome.

What else are you doing? Are you improving skills? Jamming? Those things drop your mood too. So does traveling and performing.
Edit: Yeah you're improving a skill, which is going to drop your mood. Change to composing music for a couple updates, and you should see improvement.

So, what exactly do I do as the CEO of a security firm?
Myndaen2008-01-16 16:59:47
So, in our next show I see: "Perform a dance on stage" and I'm the one doing it. I understand what that means, in the sense that it'll probably be based on my dancing ability , but.. What does that do? Do those things add to the overall good or badness of the show? How do they affect me personally? How do they affect my band?
Etc. etc.
Etc. etc.
