I know how to play stringed instruments but not yet a bass guitarist, plus I'm in the reggae genre.

Then come to London and learn metal, anything is better than nothing!
Lysandus2008-02-09 04:59:34
I'm always in London, I'll learn Metal and improve basic strings after they give out experience... which is like tomorrow.

I haven't found that having only two members makes our concerts suck at all.

How many instruments do your songs typically have?
Xavius2008-02-09 06:52:44
Why would you give your songs more instruments than your band can support? I steal songs from the top of the charts with two instruments without really having to search for them.

Because they're good songs, and we'd hoped for the same number of people jumping to join as all the other Lusternia startups seemed to have.

I have songs that were written for a lot more instruments than I have. But the key is you are "covering" the song, and making it into your "genre" then "sub-genre". I have never had any problems with the songs I picked now. I am getting 2 *'s per song near the ending. And I would be getting a higher rating if I would remember to be online when my band was on stage (I have it set to pull someone from the audience and I need to actually see if someone is in the audience to begin with)
But yeah cover whatever top songs you want, just get them up to about 70-80% and the crowd is pretty happy. I even was asked for 2 encores. I am not doing to bad in the rock scene. Rated like 2900 or something and I was 6000 or so last week.

Wanderlust is a band of two. Moriana and I choose songs that work for us, and, like Xavius said, it's so easy to find good songs to cover that will work for you!
Bigger bands = more people to worry about, not better shows.

US and Canada suck, no one is there. Even Reiha the Metagamer moved to London
I got another below average show!! WOOT. Sad thing was I forgot I was in a time zone where the show would happen early and I missed it. The good thing was I changed my default list to not drag someone onstage this time AND I had two encores!
