I have a rant about how slow our current show is going. Tianna and Hailey are going to miss their flight to Brussels.

I've already canceled the flight...to get some money back, but I hope Moriana shows up soon so she can too.

I always send my messages to my criminal teacher french and in english. I don't want him to think he is dumb, but I want to make sure he understands what I am saying when I say I need this skill, that skill, and if he has learned this or that yet or if I need to hold up at one of his apartments.

Argh.

I can't decide which is worse: not being able to log in to Popomundo or getting upset about not being able to log in that you continue trying every few seconds wondering if you can outfox the slow servers.

Or is it even worse when you do manage to get in and you're overwhelmingly relieved.

Shayle had a 3-4 hour onstage performance. When she told me she was still onstage. It reminded me of when Smashing Pumpkins got snowed in during the grand opening of the "new" 9:30 club in DC (for you young DC kiddos, 9:30 club used to be on 930 F street, thus the name. Not around U or V St. where it is now). Nonetheless, we were there, they were there and they said screw it we are snowed in lets play all night. And man that is what they did!! What a friggin show!!!!

Hum...my three encore plan didn't work...back to the drawing board!

I don't what I should do next. I have no money, no friends yet, the people I interacted with didn't respond... I'm stuck composing a song. Its taking a long time to improve the lyrics. It looks like its not moving at all. Should I be busking instead of resting? I can't finish mom's wishes without money. Bah!

On the brighter side, I think I got a good job. $600 salary as a bartender. I haven't got paid yet though.

And yeah, salaries paid on fridays. I'm newish too. What I'm doing now is getting to know a bunch of teachers at the university so I can learn skills. Somebody more experienced could probably suggest something better.

Only one thing better to do: Read the forums! Find teachers who are offering some kind of benefit for learning from them (some teachers offer cash prizes for learning skills), find teachers who seem truly interested in helping out newbies with questions and stuff instead of just the "Hey, dude, I've got students learning from me and giving me skills. I rule!" type that's most prevalent. Those two should give you a pretty good starting point, and the latter especially can lead to a lot more opportunities later on if you keep up on them (unfortunately, I've kind of fallen out of touch with most of my teachers at this point).

Make sure you get your genre books pick a genre and get a book immediately. Skill it up to 5 *'s if possible. That is the start of your career. (goes for you too mr.shrimp)

And don't worry about the love bar. It builds up, so what. No biggie. If you don't wanna get laid, etc. Just set to chaste. But if you keep friendly or flirty the friendships build up faster.

The best jobs I think are CEO jobs because you don't have to be in the city to get paid for doing your job. I mean I work for a shop that sells 3 items. And they never sell. I never stock it. I flirt with the owner, watch her kids and help them get ready for the toddlers to learn Basic Crime (yes I wanna be that guy in Oliver Twist )

I am only paid 3k a week, but remember I just say "I need some money for this and that" and I get 10k. I don't mind my job at all

I found a CEO position for a hotel in the classifieds that pays 3.5k a week. I thought about contacting the owner to see if he wanted me to do anything to improve the locale, but naaah I think this is more relaxing
