I've only been playing about 2 weeks, so some of the things are pretty spastic. Let me know what you guys think. All criticism is warranted and welcomed. I need to learn to use icewalls I know, but I guess this is all part of the learning process.

Thanks!

(The declare at the beginning is from him and Xenthos jumping me in Aetherplex. Also note, after this fight I was killed by Daedalion while teleporting to nexus after he got out of toad. Hit me for like 2,000 hps.)

This has been edited, becuse this thread is not what I had initially thought it was about.

Said "jumping" being a horribly uncoordinated reprisal for a jumping of Raoul in Faethorn minutes before.

I have to say, Daedalion, that was *very* horrid. Thank the Divine for Pectus.

I forgot to put up quicksilver or he never would of aeon'd me in the first place, but yes.. I agree my preformance was pathetic

if they don't wake up immediately or after two seconds you can assume they don't have kafe up and that you or your pixie have successfully stripped it. Also, you can't simply rely on stupidity/anorexia for better people. So after you get them to sleep, you'll want to draw hexes and perpetuate it via things like scabies, epilepsy, impatience, reckless, amnesia and so forth. really depends on the opponent of how much you'll want to try and stick.

I didn't say it wasn't a deserved jump!

Ok.

How often after I notice they have kafe down do I need to resleep? I just learned how to sleeplock yesterday, so I'm still working on that (as you can tell) I'm always afraid I'm going to lose the sleep. Are the hexes you listed the main ones I want to concentrate on after the sleeplock?

Thanks Krellan.

Wasn't really a jump at all, I was transfixing you and thinking Xenthos was going to kill you.. when he was just impaling you. I didn't want to steal his kill so I didn't do anything more, eventually Pectus killed you for some odd reason.

I still have to thank the Divine for Pectus. The two of us were just standing at each other going, "Hey, it's all you." "Why, no, thank you, please, all yours." "Oh no, no, I couldn't possibly! I insist!"

Pectus: "Um. Well then. Let's just end this."

I'm guessing you're thanking Pectus for that, too.

I hadn't read the log when I made that post. I was talking about the thing prior to this, that Luxi mentioned.

I have a question about that. There is nothing I could of done right? After a while, I was just like, "Put me out of my misery already!" I think my system was trying to spam writhe and it was just scrolling me into oblivion.

Oh. Well, I won't comment on the curing. But hiding at the Portal of Fate as a toad? Come on.

@Luxi: As you said, should have icewalled. It became pretty obviously that he was having trouble curing.

I wasn't hiding! I was regrouping for a strategic advance... yeah.. that sounds good.

You're using pooka badly. You shouldn't just force things on their own; use them in conjuction with your commands. In this case, what you want to do to sleeplock is order @tar metawake off;doublewhammy @tar with sleep sleep.

Also, the running to portal when toaded was lol.
Krellan2007-12-08 04:03:09
you sleep them if they wake up. You draw an extra sleep hexe, leave it for if they wake up. You need to keep them aeoned, so that if they wake up, you can throw sleep and put them to sleep before they can get insomnia back and kafe. Sleep enchantment is also helpful if you don't want to redraw or if they wake up immediately again and you don't have a hex drawn. I think those are generally the main ones you want to stick afterwards. There's lots of ways to go about it. take a look at the afflictions and your own style and see how you want to do it. There's same cure stacking (afflictions that require the same herb/purgative to cure), focus stacking (impatience), and then balance/eq loss (epilepsy/scabies/amnesia/stupidity) as well as other hindering things. You definately want to make sure they have anorexia so they can't also jsut cure aeon when they wake up. so you might want to throw asthma at some point too and if you get lucky, crone might hit wth slickness.
