And Shammy, when Narsrim sent you that, did you tell him that you were the one who dropped the veto with the note that you don't want druids to have alternate kill conditions?

In that case, I'm not sure I'd like to see a Shadowcaster Fae.. thing (*twitch*) Druid that could thornlash on their balance -in addition to- their normal arsenal. It's a clever idea, but would require thornlash to be toned down quite a bit, wouldn't it?

They do not. They have Gore, which impales if they are below 50% health, and insta kills if they are below 25% health.

I guess you could set up an Assess trigger, but that's more work than a contemplate trigger since (I think) Assess both requires equilibrium AND uses it.

Use discern instead. Contemplate speed and gives an output like this:

You stare deep into Someone's soul and discern that:

Druids are fine. If you fail as druid you fail as anything else.

Druids are only linear cuz nobody is creative.

The first thing isn't the problem. It's not about druids being underpowered or even necessarily overpowered.

What would you recommend for the second, out of curiosity?

Trans stag is sweet, more so than Druidry, and as long as you have Narcolepsy in Dreamweaving, you're pretty much fine. But getting Stagform is great, with the cheaper stagstomps and stuff. Get people falling asleep, blackout, vines, stagstomp them while you're at it.

I'll make a slight correction on gore here. It has a flat 33% chance to to impale. It is no longer dependent on the target's health.

I also think it'd be interesting if druids could thornlash the person while sapped, but not be able to thornrend while sapped. Or they could thornrend, but if all four limbs were lashed and the target was sapped then it would just do as it always has, cause bleeding based on the number of limbs lashed.
