Okay, so we all have a construct or two that offers free discretionary powers, level 3 regenerations for health, mana, and ego, as well as giving insanity over time to enemies. These only happen plane wide and the insanity part I'm fairly sure does not work at all.
I had an idea to alter these slightly. Keep the regen and insanity part (make the insanity part actually work). Change free discretionary powers to plane-wide conglutination for all citizens/members of the organization to which the construct belongs.
Toss your opinions out.

Do you really want to give Glomdoring conglutinate in Etherwilde, and Serenwilde conglutinate in EtherGlom? As well as conglut in the catacombs?
Furien2007-12-11 05:21:41
That would be very interesting, actually.
Shiri2007-12-11 05:22:04
I like the principle he has in mind though.
Forren2007-12-11 05:24:52
YES
Ildaudid2007-12-11 05:27:52
Not if it causes me to lose my Lich. I wub my lich and my monk is going to it too.... since I will need the str boost.

He didn't suggest modifying the Crypt. Fix the Angelfont though plz.
This would fix a lot of problems.
Acrune2007-12-11 05:48:28
Yeah, do that and make angelfont worth the comms, and I'll be happy.
Tervic2007-12-11 06:11:12
But being able to shield while prone is teh awesomes. Same with a powerfree 1/3 Green (for bashing at least).
Unknown2007-12-11 06:11:36
I agree with this suggestion.

Maybe if you can't cure.. I'd rather have green for actual pvp - 2 affs.

That was an oversight really. But I don't think it'd be a big deal. Encourages raids, Defenders never pray. Also that means no more free liveforest, flux, ripple.
I'll clarify that this idea was not for angelfont. It's for the guardian tree's that the communes get and the two different constructs that the cities get. Mag has like some Oracle for Nil and such.
Technically this is a nerf to these constructs, but all of the fighters want it of course. We're all tired of getting liveforested, we're all tired of getting fluxed on elemental and rippled on cosmic. We're all tired of praying when we defend. We already conglut inside our own prime territories. I think this would be a better alternative to those specific constructs. Keep the Regeneration and insanity part, plus actually fix the insanity part so it happens to enemies.

I almost made this suggestion myself. Change the harmony spire of each org to give conglute to every citizen. If they already have conglute, further cut the xp loss. Or alternatively, add a new construct for this purpose.
This will encourage more participation in offprime combat, raids, so on. It will also make the impromptu defense of planar territories easier to swallow.

And that makes this idea perfect.

No exp loss for people with conglutination who die in their own territory of their respective planes (so Serens in Etherglom will still do normal conglutination, and vice versa)
Krellan2007-12-11 08:30:44
My first instinct before the idea I posted was kind of radical and I was g oing to have it as a no exp loss for defenders. I don't particularly care about the exp cost lessened from conglut since conglut is already small enough as it is. But in any case, it's up to the admins and their available coding time.
