I'm writing a system. There are a whole lot of afflictions that I don't know about. I have a list of afflictions, but no description of what they are. Is there a list? I basically need to know how serious each is, and what they do. Any help for the beginner?

i belive the scrying pool has the most, but i think its down atm - not sure, search it up..

Don't go to scrying pool, it's trojan'ed at the moment. There is an affliction list somewhere on the forums - since some subforums were added and removed I am unsure where, probably Survival or Combat. Look for pinned threads.

There's another list somewhere that lists what they all do, but I can't find it right now. If I find it at some point I'll update this post.

I was actually doing this, then I realized that there are a few warrior affs that I can't distinguish between.

I second what others have said. Systems are a lot of work, and will take a lot of time and effort for you to get to the bottom of them. I'm sure there are several of us who would happily answer any questions you have about specific afflictions, but I don't think it's likely you'll find someone to list all of the afflictions and exactly what they do. That would be a huge list. Forren explains several of them and why they should/should not be prioritized in his list if you read it carefully. You should ask about any others you have questions about here, and I'll try to answer as I can.

Standard programming practice in some circles. A way to tell things apart at a glance to see what exactly they are. First word lowercase, every word after that uppercase (so they're easily read).

Exactly. There are some exceptions, though. Constants, for example, are usually in all caps. Class names usually begin with a capital letter, so you can tell what they are quickly. Variables and values (which, in the system, all afflictions are) usually start with a lowercase letter.

It makes things easier for programmers to read when they're looking at a mess of code.
