This is great! Just downloaded it. Though there do seem to be some problems with autodefenses. Why am I trying to eat like a million herbs when I first log in to put up some defenses? And it seems the autosipper keeps sipping mana when I don't have balance for it. And the checkdef thing is kinda messed up to, it rubs my enchantments like 10 times.

This is by design.
If you look into the code you will see a lot of timers that check to make sure what you tried to do actually happened. This makes the system handle things like stupidity or insanity for example.
If a few sips here and there bothers you then just SPAUSE the system or disable triggers when you get a large lag spike. It is really far less of an issue than you are making it out to be though.

it is for me, since I'm sharing bandwidth with a lot of people and my connection is always laggy, so it's more than a few sips. Then again, with as much lag as I'm getting, heavy bashing or any PvP is out of the question anyway, so maybe I'll just leave it paused the whole time.

On second thought, I don't think it is lag that's always at fault for me eating a lot of herbs. Here's what happened when I logged on, with no lag.
As you can see, I ate faeleaf twice without need. What's going on here?

I'd suggest logging some output from the script debug window (new in CMUD) to determine what's firing and why. If that doesn't help you narrow it down enough, post it here and ask again.

Ok, everything looks good there. I guess the problem probably was that I had a small amount of lag, enough to eat the faeleaf multiple times. Now, looking at the code, I can't find any timer at all. This means that even the smallest amount of lag would throw it off, right? Also, wouldn't a timer be a good way to failsafe the system against a failed attempt to heal? Here's the specific alias I'm looking at, in the xml version.

That alias really has nothing to do with any timers that are in the system (or much else actually excepting parsing out which cure should be used when). It's a basic switch statement that relies on various other functions and variables to function properly.
Your problem has to do with the delay timer for needing sixth sense not taking into account that someone might actually pause the system after indicating they wanted to eat faeleaf. It will be fixed in the next version.

I found a problem with one of your functions, Cat. For some reason your system tried to set up several defenses for me that I don't have the ability to put up. When I used the removedefenses function to try to disable them, it kept trying to put them up anyway. Looking at your code I modified removedefenses to include the following:
Also I'm not sure why it tried to enable those defenses in the first place. I think maybe after I changed guilds and did a new catscan, they still were left in DefensesEnabled even though I no longer had the skill.
One more thing, when I used catscan, after it asked me if I wanted to keep sixthsense up, it immediately tried to put it up even though it was already up.

I am wondering why when I go to install the next version of cat's system 2.9.pkg within the package folders I click the plus button. When I click that plus button it doesn't install 2.9pkg but Cat2. Also I looked at the tab and it still says cat2.7pkg under sessions. I am wondering if I am installing this package incorrectly?

Think it just has the same name. If you check the file it's using in package properties you should see what the actual package file is.

type 'sethp' and change the value of the scroll or the potion to something lower so that it does not fire on the damage.
