This system should come with a warranty in case it eats all of your kafe. Twice.
It's free. No warranty. But if you'd like to submit a bug report with a log of that happening I can always fix it.
Catarin2007-12-31 00:00:34
Version 1.5 is up. For those that were having the CAT2 window show up and having this cause alarm problems (There is a known CMUD bug involving alarms and several windows) this shouldn't happen in the new version. Also fixed a rupture bug several of you reported and a few other things you can check out in the version history.

I think the kafe bug he means is when you get a lag spike and you are curing/using kafe it will keep doing that until you get a message. Which would be fixed by a failsafe system.

Eh, I put in something where you can turn it off manually if you need to.

it is not the kafe mechanic itself
CODE
3958h, 4620m, 4350e, 10p, 20862en, 21100w eixk<>-sip health  <-- Insert lag spike
sip health
sip health
sip health

it is not to much a problem with small lag spikes, bigger ones I just turn of the system to prevent empty vials *shrug*

The system is built for speed under an assumption of normal operating conditions. It's highly unlikely I'm going to revamp it to take lag spikes into consideration any time in the near future.

nor should you, if everyone just makes an alias to turn of the system when in a lag spike all is well!
Catarin2007-12-31 15:08:14
Okay, here's something else with the system. Things are not going to work properly if you have the config voting prompt option turned on and it's showing that - Vote - at the end of the prompt. I recommend turning it off or the system will not recognize a ton of things related to the prompt, including whether you've eaten kafe or not.

I was thinking about switching over to cmud, but I can't code and it's taken me forever to get used to zmud....but I'm still considering it.
Does the newest version replace defenses?

You have to do Offense and Defenses on your own.
The system just cures you when you get hurt (and a few other small random things, like pilotOn, and automated door opening)

Yep, does a pretty good job of it too... now I just need to figure out the offense thing and I'm set!
Thank you again, Catarin.

i read the installation tutorial for cmud but theres nothing for installing it on zmud. could you please include that as well?
Ilyarin2008-01-13 07:46:51
You can't install this system on zMUD unfortunately, it's only for cMUD.
Catarin2008-01-14 15:05:43
There is a new version of the system up at www.catlss.com
