My god man, remove that image!

edit: nevermind, the forums shrink it some. But it's still huge!

Also, neither one are wearing robes. They have on a coat and pants.

I tired making a 'gi' like design... it was rejected for not looking like a robe. So... not sure how to handle it...

Popular fiction depicting fighting in robes, with or without pants:
Zhong Wuen, aka John Wayne, aka Fights in Dress, in Shanghai Noon
Li Mu Bai in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Wong Fei Hung in Drunken Master
Jedi-of-your-choice in Star-Wars-movie-of-your-choice

Pankration, ancient Olympic wrestling was originally done in a simple robe. They were typically torn off during the fight, much to the pleasure of spectators (some things never change, in wrestling...). It was also rather common to participate nude.

IE, please let us wear pants with robes, or you might see monks wrestling in the nude. And I'm sure no one wants to see that.

The thing there is those robes were designed for martial arts.

That being said, I have Jedi-esque robes that got approved a while back... they are green and foresty, but they are the best I can offer. Used them as the base for my new ones which got rejected...

Unfortunately, the Charites don't have clear nor consistent standards.
