I'd like to make a 'system' you could say, that will let me SETGRID and change the different variables to the different modules on the aethership I'd be on, so that I don't need to have alias sets for the different ships I frequent.
Can anyone help?

What language do you use? I have written a script that does that in zMUD, and could probably come up with one easily enough for lua. I might be able to figure something out for other languages, but no promises.

Considering MUSH is in the topic...whatever language MUSH uses.

MUSH doesn't have a set language, though

Never used it. always thought it used lua or something.

Not lua, using Ethelon's system otherwise.
I'm just tired of the "come help me test out my ship" or "Take over for a sec" when on a new ship, and having to have everyone wait while I set up another new set of aliases.
I had requested to Ethelon who said he could do it, but as he's working on the revamp, and this has been kicking me a lot lately, wanted to see if I could pull off something that'd get the job done without pestering him.

MUSH supports Lua, Python, JScript, VBScript, and Perlscript. I avoid the last three like the plague when possible.

Ethelon wrote in VBScript, if I remember right. If I concentrated I could probably help you, but as I mentioned I hate VBScript...I might leave that to the experts to help you.

PM me everything you need it to do specifically, including all the details, such as aliases and whatnot you need and I will see what I can do for ya.
