My friend usually goes beach..one day he saw a beautiful girl nearby. Next day also he saw the girl. He is not as usual. i noticed this and he is not as usual. smelting something going wrong..i followed him. He simply saw her and returned. i asked him what happened? he straightaway said '' i want to marry that girl ''. Hey..she is fisherman's daughter..comparing you she is nothing..so poor. will your parents agree? he said it is you to do. He is the only son, i met his parents and said. to my surprise they said to come with fisherman. so happy, i am and came with fisherman. He said that her daughter agreed for marriage..but, he put conditions..The flat should in her name. a huge amount deposited in her name. parents said he is my only son all properties are to go to him only for which he says.. may be..but, if my conditions fulfilled i will agree to give my daughter to ur son.. i talked to that girl. she ecoed her dad. parents sent him out. why the fisherman set conditions?

....? Huh?
Unknown2007-12-19 06:11:17
What are you talking about?
Amarysse2007-12-19 06:14:08
I have no idea, but when I read the title ("deposit in his daughter") I immediately assumed porn was involved.

This guy wrote 3 posts nine months ago. Now he's back with a totally different (incomprehensible - no offense) writing style.
I suspect a bot or a hack. It's only a post with no attachments so no viruses and similar crap should occur - but better check antivir or something like that.
Maybe I'll go with "something like that".

How odd.
I don't see any spam links in there at all, or references to products (beyond marriage). Spam intended to raise marriage rates?

Oh my god, this was one of the funniest things I've ever read.

Yeah...edited the post to check for ninja tags, nothing observable. Bizarre.

It reminds me of this.

As a new player who had a failed attempt at starting to play Lusternia a year ago (for the same reasons), I will relate my story:
Coming into Newton Caverns was difficult for me as a normally non-MUD player because I wasn't aware that I was meant to use a map or that there was one, for that matter. The basic game mechanics of Lusternia illude me unless I'm explicitly told them. For instance, I was unaware until recently about the huge role that vials play in combat.
... extra snipped.

Any chance you can rephrase it to be more like this? Could translate, as I think I get the gist of it, but it's a bit rambley.

Okay, I am going to assume this is real.
If I didn't misunderstand, the situation can be summed up as follows:
Your friend wants to marry a poor girl.
The poor girl's family agrees for marriage only if they receive a lot of money and valuable property. The girl shares that point of view.
It doesn't matter if she is poor or rich when it gets to love - it has no barriers. I am stupidly romantic like that. But from what I see, the fisherman simply uses this as an opportunity to get rich quickly. Poor or not, that doesn't sound like a moral thing to do. And because the girl voices this opinion as well, I don't think her attraction to your friend is real - she's probably in it for the money only.
I'd advise your friend to forget her and try finding someone else.

Spam bots don't have AI, usually.
Anyways, you're asking a group of westerners (judging by the situation, you're not) about a situation that is absolutely irrelevant to our lives. Rich guy wants to marry a poor fisherman's daughter? Ok, great, go for it. We don't have dowry arrangements. Prenups don't include clauses like that. So, basically, wrong crowd.

Well, I took the opportunity to force my westerner mentality into the situation already.
Reiha2007-12-19 06:29:16
This sounds like a fairy tale or something, not that it doesn't happen
Unknown2007-12-19 14:43:34
This guy almost edged out krin's quote in my sig.
Almost.
Almost.
Unknown2007-12-19 16:04:53
Ok, so I have this friend. He's a really cool guy, intelligent, funny, etc. I tried to get him into Lusternia awhile back. He couldn't get into it, despite trying. He likes to browse Yahoo questions, where he came across this. Apparently it's real. Oh, he also likes to troll people. So, not having alot of respect for the whole lusternia crowd, he decided to troll you all with a snippit from Yahoo questions. God you guys are guillible. Some funny answers though.
Shiri2007-12-19 16:06:49
Hey, only some of us are gullible.

I hope I'm not the only one who sees a conflict between those two statements.
