Think I'm going to start posting more logs. They might not be the most exciting fights, but a log's a log! Besides, I can always use some tips.
To start things off:
Daem vs. Synl: http://nogfx.org/logs/87
Ended up in a timeout.
Any and all tips appreciated. I know I screwed up the spikepits for a while there, but I finally have traps figured out! Sort of.

Looks like you had him on the defensive most of the fight. Good job. (unless I'm...missing something.)

This kinda sucked
Nasty nasty drain...
Anyway you have to make sure hes enemied, didnt see you reenemy him, but judging by his moving back and forth for a bit you hadnt reenemied.
Make sure to order ents again after nymph hits.
Can you hack up someone in a pit? Would think hackup hits legs or gut, which are in the pit I believe... isnt it head chest and arms you can hit when someone falls in?
I think if you have gone for head at the start you might have gotten him slit. Mind you at the same time mantakya doesnt seem like it would have been bad to stop him from leaving the pit at all.
I am no knight expert, but you did well for getting the 'swing' of things.
And yeah you had him on the defensive most of it, when he did anorexia you werent in blackout so it didnt stay long as a note for him.

How did that timeout when it was so short?
Unknown2007-12-21 11:44:35
Took time to defup/traps.
Yea, not too sure about hackup. I know you can hit gut, but maybe only through jabs? In any case, I meant to go for slitthroat there (st = slitthroat, ss=severspine). I think I'll try Mantakaya instead of Senso though.
Nymph is something I totally forgot about, thanks! I'll make an echo for it, then. And I eventually figured out why my traps weren't hitting (bloody pooka!) so...yea.

That is wierd... I thought I threw it as a doublewhammy.
edit: I'm embarrassed now. I've ran around for the last I don't know... month with my doublewhammy aliases set to hex instead of doublewhammy...
edit2: The drain is nasty on people with inept/near inept magic and I believe Synl falls in that catagory.

He does, indeed, fall into that category.
Bad Synl, bad!

I'd really say nerf succumb, but then it would be useless against people that had trans magic. They should get rid of the reliability on magic from succumb and just do whatever the drain is at trans magic. I kill people too easily with it who don't have trans magic, well... usually...
Krellan2007-12-21 21:21:56
I already came up with a succumb nerf that no one felt like responding to, probably because it nerfs Magic and probably cause it was only in a post who knows where now. Anyways it was flat 15% drain, regardless of skill in Magic. 15% is still high for a passive drain anyways. Not a single active mana draining ability has a 15% rate going for them.

Bonded wolf is easier than other ents to make attack again since you can do BOND ATTACK off balance/equilibrium, where others i think you need it? You might want to consider using the thinblood poison for spikepits. If his system cures it after senso he might waste some extra time due to relapse. Just make sure its the fifth spike you envenom so that it hits first.
