joining restrictions really do not matter. I would get a torch simply because I have made a certain advancement with Anisu and have come to a point where all my goals for that character have been fufilled. New goals I have set are not attainable with Anisu because of her past (you can not for example start being rational when your character has been a raving mad woman for the past 80 in game years, well you can but not without putting a lot of effort in it)
I am not willing to again invest the amount of credits I did, because honoustly I do not enjoy Lusternia enough for it and am just waiting for Earth Eternal and Stargate worlds.
So any system where you can start anew but can keep like 70% of your riches (70% of your lessonpool, 70% of your credits (not gold), and having to pay 30% of the value of your manses) would be really nice
