The best part about Christmas is that you can eat nothing but borsch with ravioli for three days straight. Then you prepare for New Year... which means selling fireworks for me. Sigh.

Gilette shaving machine +aftershave (the expensive kind, that one advertised by a very manly guy who winces like a little kid each time he cuts himself during shaving)

Best of all - my brother gave me a link to a page where I can watch Avatar: the Last Airbender. It rawks.

Got awfully preachy again, but yeah, it was definitely unexpected. Not a bad book otherwise.

Only in parts was it really preachy. I mean, it wasn't nearly as bad as Naked Empire or Pillars of Creation, and the preachy stuff (like all the rhetorical questions Nicci asks in a single paragraph at one point) really just made me giggle. It was like, "Oh Terry. You're so crazy." tongue.gif

Mom lives in Maine, I live in San Diego... we were not even together. :-p I wasn't even home for most of it, having taken my shift as OOD so that the Christians in the command could have the die off.
