If my parries don't fail, lunge isn't enough to kill me, so the "sustained" part matters.

Stargaze
We should be able to STARGAZE to predict where planets will be on a given date.

-Warriors can outpace curing on most people other than warriors or people in high stat armor... you only need 1 perfect hit to pull the rest of the fight better..get -1- tendon not to get allheal sipped and insta tendon the other side.. now what?

-Guardians do need help, most of you will notice the par moving

-Monks can outpace curing because of their speeding up and affs they give

-Isnt it funny guardians are not the best afflicters? Over time bards, and monks can do better.. quiote possibly warriors! 2 wound affs and 2 venoms possible.

Lichdom stripping would also be a scaring factor for necromancers (though some probably don't care much anyway), and that's value.

If Mag didn't care so much about lichdom and having it stripped, no one would bitch about construct wars and how it isn't fair that celest tries to take down the crypt.

And Celestine fighting is not as easy as it looks, especially against good curers. It feels like you're saying Nihilist combat needs, not dedication from the player to learn about the skills, but an 'easier' way to kill. As much as you may think it, there's nothing easy about killing someone as a Celestine, especially if that person has any sort of competence in combat.

As Geb had said, become a Celestine and see just how easy it is, but don't assume or guess that it's easier than Nihilist combat when it clearly is not.

I rarely used Inquisition as a Celestine, although it's a given I'm not big on lusternia combat. I used it a lot in groups when the timing was done correctly, and against Yrael solo (though Yrael is not a combatant by any means). It can be a powerful tool if timed correctly, but even that can be difficult to do, especially in combat spam.

He said Necromancers. Necromancers don't need the crypt

I didn't say it's easy, I said it's 'a bit easier' than Nihilists. I don't think guardian combat is easy, or easier than other classes. I was of an opinion that Nihilists are more difficult to master than Celestines, and as I understand Geb's post, he's also of an opinion that it used to be the case in the past. I already conceded that it's probably not the case nowadays trusting his opinion, because I am not up-to-date with skills' revisions (there's also the fact that he's knowledgeable and experienced combatant too, of course, even though no one is unerring).

So, I don't think there's a need to get defensive or feel agitated at all. smile.gif

Guardians are hard.. they are power devouring, spam afflicting, pseudo reliable, chaotic, devious, little monsters. That is why you love us.

Reliable is only pseudo and could actually get worse.

Still funny the afflicting classes can be reliably outpaced by Warriors and Monks.
