I spent my new years day flying to Hawaii, so no parties for me last night. Thirteen hours on a plane today So I had a 29 hour day thanks to timezones. I'm typing this on my iPod in the hotel to amuse myself before I go to sleep (Ive gotten 2 hours of sleep in the past 36 hours). Solo tired

HAWAII! Lucky you I haven't had any memorable New Years that I can think of, spent this one at home again. Sooo... yeah

P.S.: My heart goes out to the family in Toledo Ohio I believe it was.. on the way back from seeing Family in Michigan they were hit by a reckless drunk driver. How reckless and drunk was he? He hit the family on a highway, going the wrong direction For those unaware.. believe 4 died.

Was a car with mom, dad, and 6 kids.. everyone is either in serious or critical condition who survived.. 60 mph + 60 mph head sucks

Dont drink and drive

My uncle decided to light firework fountains on our sidewalk (illegal in my state, but no one cares). Almost blew his drunk face off when it fired, stopped, then refired 4 seconds later. I have a few people in my family who make me cringe when I see them drive away after a party. Hearing about things like that makes it all the more poignant.

I had to work on new years...I was serving someone a cocktail when the countdown started. Then i took some shots behind the bar, went home at like 1 because there was no point to partying at that point, drank some of my stashed booze, hopped on lusternia, then all the booze hit me like a tidal wave. For those wondering why i randomly left Glom.....alcohol did play a rather large part in it.

Someone needs to change your title to "Queen of the Guildhoppers."

We had a nice new year's at a half-acquintance's house. Though we left after 2am, me and spouse (player of Auer, really) 'cause we're getting old and boring. Well. I should be turning eighteen this year.

What happened to the good old days when people would just go and get laid after that they had too much to drink? Now they're switching orgs? What is happening to people today! Won't somebody think of the children? The children!?

I just went out with my boyfriend. Hung around with his family, considered actually doing something and going away for next year. Been told where I want to go is pretty fun!

I wasn't feeling to festive this year. Was kinda sick as well. I worked from 4-9 that evening, came home, watched The Sum of all Fears, drank a 2 liter bottle of Mountain Dew, and fell asleep after the countdown. Nice mellow night, that's what I enjoy.

Who needs alcohol after a 2 litre

my new year wasnt so bad, went out with some friends and my fianceé, had a nice jolly night at a local rock club, not getting too drunk (despite drinking a LOT of double vodka and red bull's) and went home feeling quite happy about the new year

was back at work today, that sucked

Well, stayed home.. worked on my resolutions early. Start rearranging and cleaning up my apt. 20 mins to midnight.. I'm folding clothes watching a -very- run down Dick Clark trying to talk.. my boyfriend comes home from work with a bottle of Korbel. Pops it open as the countdown starts, then hands me my glass. I look to the tv and join in the countdown.. raise my glass to my lips... almost choke on my engagement ring.. He gets down on one knee and proposes properly....



of course.. I said yes..
