And it isn't entirely useless. You have an infinite number of sacrificial daggers..... which take on average three OOC weeks to use.

SHould make it every IC month like the regular cameo, and keep it random. Still worth less than the 1K atifact but not useless.

While some may have worked harder then others, yes, they still deserve their reward none the less. Should all those who finished in 2nd through 5th place have some of their credits taken away? Did they not work just has valiantly for the prize that they recieved?

I was considering giving a shot at the Knowledge challenge again this year and trying to uphold my title but didn't have much incentive until I remembered the possibility of runners-up credit prizes. Hmmm

Random question that I should know the answer to, but I don't. When a sealbearer wins the Ascension challenge, do they become the Ascendant of the Seal that they won? Or do they pick?

IE.. if Ashteru were to win, would he become an Ascendant taking on the mantle of Chaos? Or would he be free to pick, say, Nature?

I guess if you win your seal again, you can trade it in for 2K credits now. Not bad!

You ascend through the Veil of the Seal that you held. Eg, "You have pierced the mysteries of the Veil of Life."

I think they will always draw their power from the Domoth of whatever Seal they bear, but they are completely free to RP however they like.

So, the winners from last year get to hold on to their seals? We have duplicate seals to pass out this year? Wow. That's so not the way I understood this whole thing to work...

These are medallions, remember, and not the actual seals. Each ascension event, the new sets of medallions are empowered to help form the Staff of Ascension. After the staff has been used, they are drained of their powers of onehit killing, but still have arti-functions.

I imagine that each ascension event, any seal bearer can hold the staff
