I only wish I had remembered Knowledge was today so I could've tried for a repeat.

the Knowledge quiz was endlessly a.) informative and b.) amusing. Whee happy to everyone who participated. I'm still shocked I managed to pull into 13th despite just being there to hack around.

Since the thread ripping apart the people who won in Beauty got shut down while I was asleep, I'll just have to say here that I never expected to win anything with my design. In fact, I was quite surprised and still am, and I'm a little overwhelmed by the result. To be honest, I much preferred the design for a scarf I created with the intent of submission, but I didn't have a trademaster to put that one through, since more people liked Aramel's for Moonlace.

Okay, now I need caffeine before my brain goes back into hibernation.

Also: Congrats and much <3 to Zia! And also congrats to Forren, though with less <3 since I don't know him well enough for that.

Just to dispel any rumours before they get started, Ilyarin has been given a bit of a teaser preview of the Ascendant system that Estarra and I have been working on behind-the-scenes. However, we have asked him not to discuss what he has seen to maintain the surprise for everyone else, so don't be surprised if any inquiries you make are stonewalled. I'm very excited about these new features, and I think it will be a great hit with the players (and Ascendants in particular).

Keep in mind, if the powers are really cool I'll bet the communities will want to raise a Vernal version of them.

At the moment there might be only two, but over time the number will grow, until eventually, all of mortality has Ascended and rises to challenge the rulership of Estarra.

Well considering that we still haven't seen the likes of Vernal Ascendants.... I think we will see more of 'em...
