Lol. No I didn't. Someone asked if you should be enemied, and about three other people all said yes.
I just, personally and OOCly, have a huge thing against enemying people for doing a quest. Sucks for the admin to put forth all the effort to make this quest exist, and then 1/4 of the players ban it.
Zacc2008-01-07 20:51:42
He'd probably get enemied to Celest too if he wasn't already, so make that 1/2.
Also, thank you admin for making another griefer (read: causing grief for others) quest. I do enjoy it.

If it drains power it'll probably become a 4/4 banned quest! I hope it doesn't drain power from all the nexii(maybe all but the org of the one who created it? And drains from all orgs if you're rogue? *hope*)

What are the rest?

The grab of the organ after it died was well done. I'd have appreciated it more if my corpse hadn't also mysteriously disappeared, though.

That was actually also me, and in hindsight I feel kind of bad about it.

Yes, that was really lame.
Revan2008-01-07 20:57:54
it looks like Zacc is just upset that Visaeris is too smart for him and thwarted all attempts to stop the quest. Settle, Zacc, enjoy the game! you're not the center of the universe.
Daganev2008-01-07 21:10:39
Damn, I have to get Daganev to learn more about the soulforge. So many of his theories are based on that project.

Actually, it wouldn't have been done if Visaeris didn't have to call the gank squad and abusing Avenger to keep Etilla alive. I found that rather amusing (enjoy the pacifism, Malarious). So, if that's considered "smart", then kudos to him!
And actually, Revan, I'm upset that the admin insist on releasing form after form of griefing mechanics that force players into conflict, combat, and ruin the players' work. This game has now risen to the level of Achaea. It is now grief-tastic!

I guess I don't get why you keep playing then. If you hate it so much, stop?

Umm.. I don't think that it's quite as severe as you're making out, really.

What about the ways the admin insist on nerfing form after form of griefing mechanics thereby forcing players into specific conflict, combat, and ruining the players who like spontaneous conflict's work?
For evidence: See all the discretionary powers severely limiting Supernal/DL raids, look at the effects of the Gorgog quest and the effects of the sea quests.
Aren't you old (as in, having played for a while) enough to know that admin do NOT insist on releasing 'form after form'... This is the first in...? Months? MANY months, in fact.
Edit: Estarra, in fact, on more than one occasion has said they're trying to focus conflict off-prime. I certainly have seen the focus shift to Nexus World combat.

So quit? Why are you playing if you don't like it?
Zacc2008-01-07 21:37:28
We'll see, Ilyarin.
It's coming to that, Shayle. It seems releases just keep getting worse and worse. A few good ones here and there, but ones like this, monks, and bards just make it ridiculous. I'm still waiting for the Ethereal quests to come back if they aren't already (wonder why they were removed... shocker). I'm sad to say it but I had more fun in Achaea (got griefed far far less there) and Aetolia than Lusternia so far (though, Lusternia does have it's pleasant points like RP, some storylines and such. It's just that the griefing is far too easily done regardless of how you play the game). I guess this is what should be expected from a free game (glad I re-activated my GS4 account).

I disagree, this was meaned to be a conflict quest and Visaeris was well aware Serenwilde would not look kindly on it when he started it. That is part what makes such a quest justifiable. If there was no risk of getting enemied then people would just do it constantly anyway.
I also hope Zia will not undo it without a hefty fine

Probably will just drain power from the cities like during the event

Banned by Celest for being dangerous/draining power.
Banned by Serenwilde for being dangerous.
Banned by Magnagora for draining power.
Glomdoring is so OP with this quest.

I'm still trying to figure out what it is that you're trying to explain as the problem. You're throwing the word 'grief' around too much though, so I'm not sure exactly what the problem is.
