I can remember villages reverting with shrines and statues of the previous holders still intact, virtually assuring they never changed hands.

Don't forget the anchored demesnes.

You know, as unfair an imbalance as this was, didn't villages tend to change over quite a lot anyway? Can't remember that aspect of it too clearly.

But now that you mention it, I remember a load of Magnagorans enemying Seren newbies to Fain's order so they could worldburn them in Stewartsville. I think we still won that one too. (+ every other org doing that etc. etc. whatever)

They ended up changing the "shrines and statues stay in there" mechanic that day, yes. I don't think banning worldburn came until much, much later with the shrine and order revamp.

Pretty sure like mid influence battle there was an announce about not doing it or something

I remember village influencing when I would hold the demesne and see my suspect list get huge as I used my demesne summon and pwned them.

I remember when we didn't conglutinate in villages.

I remember I got enemied to the Geomancers because Ravin made a demesne that circled the entire mountains and I broke it all

I remember always being demesne-summoned in between stonewalls and just left there unable to do anything without tumble.

I remember when you had me forest all of Avechna's Peak so you could meld it, and then getting yelled at by one of the Divine afterwards

Yep. Celestian. It was a nifty trick. Only truly mastered by Kaervas eventually with divinefire/chasm when it wouldn't drop on aggressive actions... though he normally used barrier. Heh

There's another topic. I remember when titans/demigods were completely insane. Wish I'd gotten tclap before they nerfed it.

For that matter... I can remember when I was excited about becoming a demigod. Then they took away half of the reason I got it.
