I remember the alt but not the shout..

He basically transcribed that "end of the world" flash video with the missiles and the kangaroo in the snow.

So I must know... who is tully's alt?
Cause I remember one day this dude randomly appearing and getting pissed off at everyone for making a mess....

I don't think Tully has an "alt" in the conventional sense. At the start, he made a load of random gimmick characters like an artisan who kept setting up terrible furniture in places without permission, and some guy who was obsessed with beer elementals. Eventually he kind of settled on the Magnagoran cleaner and started meandering about with that.

I might be wrong though, you'd have to ask him.

I remember, as my first character, when I was guildless and wandering aroud newton when I decided to join glomdoring. I was taken there and asked all sorts of questions and remember thinking I had joined some occult game.

I also remember, as a female furrikin, that I wanted reincarnate. Not knowing exactly how it was done I made my way up to ether seren and proceded to attack a hag. After dying and comming back I got a request to meet one of the higher ups and immidiatly knew I was in trouble. I was told not to do that again because it might ruin the treaty between seren and celest and, taking the game a bit to seriosly, proceeded to suicide thinking that my non-existince would patch up the wrong I had done.

I also remember when we first got aether ships, how Ialie was the first to transform her manse, and how she took half the basin on a tour of aether space where we were promptly destroyed because of the lack of guns and because of how much chatter was going on.

Then there was my first enemy status to Mag because Peter wouldn't stop playing sneaky sneaky and trying to find the underwater temple in the sea of despair.

My life is complete.

The first "alts" I had were me testing the waters. Occasionally I suffer from game addiction so I think one of the alts in Serenwilde "commited suicide" by forgetting all skills and dropping all belongings. The "Vito" character was my first attempt at trying to create a character for comic relief.

I don't have any alts, I don't have much time to play even for a few hours a week.

Additionally--I have my own memories.

I remember Marina, Lacostian, Isune, Elcyrion, Hajamin, Shikari, several characters from Magnagora, the Viravain that really hated me, Volucer, Icelus, Azrion, Aikion, Qaletaqa, etc.

The really sad thing is, since I don't play the game because of or to gain OOC friendships, but rather to be involved in a perpetual story--sort of like experiencing a novel, I find myself enjoying the game less and less. It's sort of like the characters that get written out of the darn story are the ones I find most interesting. (I had plans to ask Isune to "pay off my bonded service to Magnagora", but she left before I could do that).

It's kind of like the storyline becomes sadder and sadder as more people leave. It's the nature of the game I know, but it doesn't make it less disturbing.

EDIT: To end this on a more funny note--I do remember the one accidentally funny event I did where I tried to do something to bring back Halifax and we got a big crowd. I was hoping for a spontaneous divine intervention. Instead, all the IRE MUDs went down!
