Seems like coincidence.

On my phone so this won't be as detailed as i'd like. The code you posted proves my point. Iasmos uses the first part of the swing message to count the hit and the second part to check for a miss, so when it sees a miss it adds to both variables. You can add a total crit percent rate to the counter his code just needs to be changed to subtract from the attack counter when it adds a miss.

Yeah you're right.

My crit rate doesn't match this. sad.gif Apparently my crit rate should be just under 48%.

You have nowhere near enough hits to get a good % average. At 20k hits it levels out nicely. You should be hitting about what I do. The below is very solid data, I reset it every 50k or so, and it's come out to 1% error max each time.
----------------
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
| Total Hits: 52485
| CRITICAL - 14710 (28.0270557403564%)
| CRUSHING - 6884 (13.1161279678345%)
| OBLITERATING - 3145 (5.99218845367432%)
| ANNIHILATINGLY - 1428 (2.7207772731781%)
| WORLD-SHATTERING - 1301 (2.47880339622498%)
| Critical Percent = 52.3349494934082%
Edit: with L2 crit rune.
It's also possible that he's counting swings on things that can't be critted, which (if there are enough of them) could skew the data. Given the relatively small number of hits and the fact that hitting something that can't be critted tends to take a number of swings to off it... it wouldn't take too many of these to really muck things up for him.
Level 2
But, again, I have probably put a few... dozen? Maybe a hundred? hits on non-crittable mobs.
That's the difference, my 50k or whatever hits is almost void of smob hits.
So has anyone figured out how combateer proficiency and aethercraft skill factor into your crit rate in aetherspace, or figured out how much of a bonus kirigami is worth?
Revan2012-02-20 19:14:44
Kirigami is 0.5%
