Looking towards the Seal of War

Back to Common Grounds.

The rule was installed the 2nd wargame. It was still disobeyed
Malicia2008-01-19 22:57:57
I think it's lame that most of the Mag teams has two truefavours and shrine powers to assist. Yuck.

I can see the truefavours being lame, but they pay for the shrine powers with their own karma. It's the same as a Karma Blessing, really.
Malicia2008-01-19 23:01:16
You can use your Divine's essence to call forth shrine powers. Heal, cure, celerity, vendetta and protection? I think it's lame in an event like this. Maybe it's just me.
Munsia2008-01-19 23:02:21
I think it's Semi-lame. I mean it doesn't do too much but I guess it does to a point
Ildaudid2008-01-19 23:02:44
I am so glad I wasn't there. It seems like no matter what happens in any "event" someone complains about something. Last time it had to do with Daevos and Narsrim (one refused to leave a demense, the other refised to enter it). Then there was the thing with Desitrus and Narsrim (same thing except they sent in killer animals to flush them out) this time Thoros's team... Everyone always complains about something when these type of things happen.

And of course Visaeris always d/c's during them (people should know not to have him on a team, he will d/c on you nyahnyah.gif )
Unknown2008-01-19 23:24:03
I just want to say I'm really disappointed with the decision the administration made.

Every one of my teammates, and every one of Veo's teammates is willing to go on record to attest to the fact that there had been absolutely no communication between the two teams.

Furthermore we were so focused on tracking grey we didn't notice white went in. We went after munsia when we saw her seperate.

Now we have to fight the most boring tactic on earth: run back and forth in a choked demesne with a team that won't come out. Boy oh boy?

Furthermore, I think that this stems from a completely unclarified rule: "no teaming". What is teaming? Is it intent? Is it outright communication?

Narsrim's team has repeatedly beckoned and summoned and lusted people out of other fights. Is that teaming?
Tzekelkan2008-01-19 23:25:24
For those who missed the 'decision':

QUOTE(The Game)
The divine voice of Avechna, the Avenger reverberates powerfully, "The Second
Wargame ends inconclusively. The final three teams will fight once more before
the Third Wargame in the coming month. Visaeris, Thoros and Revan, Veonira,
Shikha and Pentu, Narsrim, Munsia and Hyrtakos. May the best team win."

This is incredibly funny especially since last year it was Celest with 2-3 TF's for the games. Funny how when the shoe is on the other foot, that it doesn't fit quite the same now does it. tongue.gif
Rika2008-01-19 23:27:31
Well, if you were are the best there, it doesn't matter that you have to go again, right? Riiiiiight?

I have never used shrine powers in an event. I can't remember the last time I have -ever- had two TFs, much less 3. I want some of what you're smoking. Can't say I've ever seen Forren waltzing around with double TFs also. I generally keep one TF, for offering, but you're misinformed. That's not unusual though, where you're concerned. Elostian doesn't favour much, that I know of. Lyreth's been gone for ages.

No it shouldnt matter, the matter will probably reside in the few who may have to work during the next fight.

Oh we'll win again. It's just exhausting and boring because we have to wait for them to slip up.
Ethelon2008-01-19 23:32:24
Why do the wargames have to be so early? Us working people are missing all the fun and drama!

Oh for christ's sake Malicia stop trying to be a martyr with your little eye rolls and the "misinformed". You may not have been here when Forren and his team were sporting 2-3 TF's during the last ascension. I was there. We discussed it, and if you have any doubts look through the last ascension stuff and I am sure the same complaint was brought up by other teams on this matter.

Forren stated he was given the TF's for donating and I think he did something to earn Charune's. Which I was accepted. I may not have believed it, but fair enough. He said so, so that is fine. But you sitting here telling me that last year I fought a team who did not have 2-3 TF's during their battle is what is misinformed. If people were given TF's by dieties then you have to accept that they deserved them, even if you don't believe it. That is just that.

Now I am sure you will play some sort of victim role as you do in every response to one of your passive aggressive posts. But I am sorry I just can't deal with how you try to pull this every time you post.
Malicia2008-01-19 23:39:04
Ildaudid, your repressed ire comes across in just about anything you post. I'm not hiding any aggression. I'm simply saying that the entirety of Celest wasn't walking around with 2-3 TFs for the past games. I saw TFs in this one, from Fain and Morgfyre and shrine powers going. I can't remember all the teams in the last one, but I'm pretty sure they weren't sporting a stack of TFs. I think it's lame. If you don't, that's fine.
Unknown2008-01-19 23:41:03
For the record, the second wargames, where my team was fighting at full capacity(with me), Fain's shrines were broken and we couldn't get powers.

Feh!

Well, to counterbalance it, a TDF was given to a combatant (though it was just a normal DF in the arena).

Revan's seemed to be working. I saw the heal aura surrounding him at Avechna.
