Some questions and explanation needed for a newbie and other stuff

Hello all,

I'm back after a period of absence from the forums and I'd like to update the ones who have helped me out with their suggestions here. Melville is doing pretty well and bashing better and he's learned a thing or two about fighting. His skills now are

Up to

ShieldParry in Combat
Potionlist in Discernment
Astral in Planar
Satiation in Discipline
Perceive in Environment
Defence in Riding
Tipheret in Highmagic

Staff in Geomancy
Claws in Phantasms
MemoryLoss in Dreamweaving

At this point, Melville is at Level : 79 (85.13%). I'm looking to get to 80 before I go off today.
While some of the points I've put may seem like a waste to many of you (etc. Riding because I wanted to know if it would help with bashing) this is where I'm at now after 3 Lusternian years. I'd like to know if there are some low lesson skills which are someone essential or useful before I start putting all the lessons I get from credits I bash for into Dreamweaving, Phantasms and Geomancy in that order. Well maybe I'll try to trans planar somewhere along the way.

Just an FYI, being a Geomancer, you are required to take High Magic. You need to take Low Magic in order to take herbs.

I'd get your Planar up a little bit more to Astralgate (It's the second skill after Astral), this will allow you to get to Astral from Nil, and not require a lift. Once you get to about level 80, 85, Astral begins to take over your hunting locations.

Your next step should probably be either to get tumble in environment or finish getting dreamweaving to narcolepsy. I can't remember how many lessons in tumble is off-hand (you may wish to ask someone before you decide whether to get it or dreamweaving first), but it's a wonderful skill and will save your ass many many times.

Uhm I'm in a bit of a situation here. I was exploring the sewers and suddenly I'm trapped in what appears to be inside some creature. How do I get out? Magnagora sewers by the way.

That would be Muud. Unless you manage to get the attention of someone who can rescue you, you're... rather screwed.

Yeah, that'll happen until you get out, but the exit is pretty far in so unless your rescuer knows what they're doing....

Maybe we should just tag the sewers as a Level 4 NovviHazard? (props to anyone who gets the medical science reference)

New update for any interested.

Up till Coalesce in Dreamweaving!!! Except I think I've burnt myself out. I can't seem to bring myself to hunt because even the thought of it makes me feel tired. Been chatting and roleplaying family a bit though. 22% of Mythical left to get Narcolepsy and that will make most of it on Shamarah's list except for Metawake and Transcendant Planar.

On a different note, I'm really shocked and sad that Bhairan left Lusternia. Miss having him around as I thought he fit the roleplay well and actually helped us organize on Nil raids. Also, thanks to Aluniira and Feyrll for helping me get this high in Dreamweaving (I haven't been hunting anything for over two days now except short trips which take about 5 minutes.)
