Anyone know of any free photo hosting sites that lower photo quality less then photobucket does? Or maybe a cheap one? I have all these beautiful pictures from Hawaii and it would be a shame to have to show them off looking less pretty then they could be.

If you don't mind HTML, just use Geocities to make your own site.

Well, my pictures are 3-4+ MB each, so that is going to eat up any free web space pretty quick, though $5 a month would get me enough... (well, after the $10 set-up)

Dude, those are some big-ass photos.. Paint Shop Pro, downsize
Acrune2008-01-18 04:14:48
They're all under 5 MB, which is strange because one place on the site says less then 10 MB, and another says less then 100 MB, and then it doesn't allow 3 and 4 MB photos.

read mah PM and comply.. or be subject to torments that are so complex, my head would explode if I even began to know what I was thinking about..

Hmm, I replied, which rhymes with comply, that good enough? I was hoping to avoid such torments until next week when I start my new job. tongue.gif

My room mate and I have some web space going unused, we can see if we can set up something for you if you like? (It would be temprary though as we have a company in the formation process that will be using that server space.

Thanks for the offers of web space, but I'd rather sacrifice a little quality and upload all the pictures I want to photobucket (or another free service if anyone knows of something better) without worrying about using up someone else's web space and bandwidth. smile.gif
