Kharvik (a psymet tae'dae) tanked incabulos spamming minorsecond for over 5 minutes. I stood there and watched it the entire time. No divinefire, no sipping, no anything. Only Psymet regen. In fact, Kharvik died only when someone else ( a monk, imagine that) jumped in and started attacking Kharvik.
Given that Kharvik is a demi with 8k health, but he also has a magic weakness. Like I said, I think you are just looking at psymet wrong. Is it as good as acro? Maybe not, I'm not in any position to say one way or the other. Is it god awful and useless? No. Fix monks before you fix their tertiaries.

I want to see it.
I'm a demigod, I have trans psymet, and I can't tank minorsecond from a normal person even with sipping. I don't have 8k health, but I also don't have a magic weakness.
You say I'm looking at psymet wrong, but then in the next sentence you admit you don't actually know whether it compares to acro, or in fact anything else, probably because you don't know what's in it because next to no one has it. So I'll just tell you that no, I'm not looking at psymet wrong, nor are people like Shamarah (although I disagree with a couple of his assessments.) Your assertion that I am has zero grounds. If you want to give specific reasons why monk offence is overpowered (specifically ruptures, where you might actually be right) you can try that on another topic rather than this one, which is about bad skills that need to be upgraded to make psychometabolism worthwhile choosing. Don't try and muddy it up.

I merely provide evidence that psymet obviously isn't the worthless pile of trash some are making it out to be.
It's up to you whether you accept it or not. Monks are against monk nerfs much like bards are against bard nerfs. I understand this. I won't change my opinion because of this.

I haven't actually -seen- any of this evidence. I still want to see that log. And I also want to see the same thing happening to a wiccan, a warrior, an acro monk and so on. If psymet, with its one locked channel magic resistance skill that's about the same as everyone else's non-locked magic resistance skill, is somehow better at resisting magic than any other skillset and/or class combo, I will consider buying into your argument (particularly if you can find out where this phantom magic resistance is coming from.) If it isn't, I won't.

Like I said, I have no reason to pull those names out of my rear end. I can only tell you what I saw.
